"Lexa let me come with you, if it is the Ark then I will know who it is and what problems they could cause us".

"Clarke it could be dangerous, we know nothing of what your people want".

"They have never been my people Lexa and you know why, but I know them better than anyone......please, you and TonDC are people now, let me help. We could bring Raven, hide in the shadows and watch them, when we gain a better understanding of who they are and what they want, you can decide what to do with them".

She sighs in defeat, "okay.......but you are still not to walk on your foot, we will take Raven and two of my guards, but we need Raven to understand that she is not to engage with them, not yet".

"Okay, when do we leave?"

"Now, I will tell my guards to prepare us some supplies, then we will talk to Raven, gather what you need, we need to do this now."

After about an hour we were already leaving, me in Lexa's arms and Raven walking beside her, with two guards trailing just behind us. We soon come to the crash site, and ensure we are masked in the trees......they're just kids. What the hell are they doing here?!

"Raven, it's just kids..........Wells".

"Is that finn?" Raven quietly whispers.

"Raven......they were all in the sky box"

"What's the sky box?", Lexa questions without breaking her glare on the dropship.

"It was our prison, no one under the age of 18 is allowed to be floated so they just lock them up until they turn 18 and can be killed."

"Clarke, didn't your dad say Jaha was considering sending 100 kids down here to see if the ground is survivable?"

"Lexa......they are all innocent.....we need to talk to them".

"Clarke it could be dangerous".

"I can protect myself, we can wait until morning so that it is clearer, but you two will need to stay here".

"Clarke no".

"If they see you, they may see it as a threat, I will make them come to me, you will be to hear anything they say and are close by if I need help, beja, I'll be okay"

"But-"

"Lexa.....I have to do this on my own and you have to let me".

The look of confusion and terror is clear on her face, so I gently cup her cheek and whisper, "I'll be okay, I promise, now it is your turn to trust me".

A few hours later

"Lexa.....it's time", her features slowly begin to soften and she carefully places me back on my feet and as I turn to walk away I feel a gentle hand grip my wrist, "I'll be right here", I smile back and her grip loosens as I confidently stride into view.

"WELLS?! FINN?! IT'S CLARKE, WE NEED TO TALK".

I slowly see faces emerge from the dropship and at least 100 people slowly making their way towards me. When they stop just in front of me, another boy steps forward, though I am sure I recognise him from somewhere...
