'Ugh, am I getting too desperate?' The black-haired teen cringed through the thought as he close the door after his best friend for 12 years left the house once again.
'I feel like i've been clinging onto him too much, jesus christ Michael- what's wrong with you?' He sighs heavily, passing his bedroom where the two had been joking, laughing and gaming for the past few hours.
He instead makes his way to the kitchen, leaning against the island in the middle of the room. Laying his head against the cold surface of the island, a quite nice looking lady trails in- taking a double-take at her son, "Hm, Michael? what's wrong, hon?" She asks, honestly intrigued as she grabs a drink from the fridge then focuses on the distressed teen.
"I-I don't know if i'm being honest.. " He mumbles quietly, turning his head toward the woman in a pout, "Like- Jeremy comes over almost everyday right? Usually after I ask him but, it feels so wrong, I feel clingy and attached to him.." Michael expresses with furrowed brow pushing at the glasses covering his eyes.
His mother takes a moment to think, just slightly nibbling at her lip,
"Well, I guess it really depends on a question, sweetie." She shrugs, gently reaching her hand over to swipe the hair away from Michael's vision.
"Really? What is it?" He ask with a clueless head tilt as his mom pulls back from his face.
"A-"
"Are you gay for him?" A voice intrudes from the connected living room to the kitchen, making the teen jump more than the lady.
Of course, the other voice had been his other mom who was sitting on the couch with a magazine in her hands but she now focused her gaze on her jumpy and flustered son,
"W-What? G-Gay for him? No, no, no- Jeremy's just my friend! I- can't be attached to him like..that." The more the brown-eyed boy went on, his laughs grew softer until they were barely there- disappearing at the thought of liking his friend, his best friend actually.
"It's not impossible, Michael- there's nothing wrong with liking someone. If you'd like? you can take me and your mother for example."
"Chelsea, I don't think that's-"
The woman from the couch calmly shushed her wife as she walks over to the other two, "Me and her were just dumb high-schoolers, we certainly weren't friends for 12 years but we knew each quite well and we got along.
Things started to turn when this sweetheart—The lady smiles as she drags a piece of hair behind her wife's ear—realizes she has feelings for me, crazy right?" His mom looks to him as Michael giggles softly so she can continue her story.
"But either way, as the day of prom came and we decided to go as just friend- she pulls a little romantic trick with whole kinds of gifts and confesses then i confessed."
"Mom..that's really sweet and all but..that's not me and Jeremy. He's..different." The teen sighs, lifting his head from the countertop, staring down at his hands that still rested on the island, " He's funny and really awesome even if he doesn't think so- and he gets flustered so easily, it's ridiculous. " He rolls his eyes with a laugh, "Jeremy's not the person who deserves gifts or money or what the hell ever- he deserves the world. He deserves every inch of happiness, even if it means being with Christine or whoever..
There's just something about him you can't describe but it's so fucking cute, you can't help but awe at. He's him and I couldn't be more happy to be by him. He's..gosh, I dunno- He's just- perfect, he can make your heart flip in anyway he wants, makes your cheeks pink with every smile, and definitely raise your happiness- he's so amazing, i don't even deserve him." Michael finishes in a small mumble, not noticing his little rant about his best friend.
"My gosh, honey- i've never heard you go on about anyone like that before, Jeremy is really something special to you- isn't he?" Jenny raises her brows at her usually well-reserved son.
The blabbering teen looks up suddenly, red dashed across his features- brows scrunched together, "W-What? Well..I mean, yeah- he's really special, more than anything." They take in the moment of silence before the dark-haired boy plants his face in his hands, "Fuck. I'm so gay for him."
"Called it." Chelsea snapped, a proud smirk spreading across her lips.
"Chel." The other woman rolled her eyes, turning back to her boy to gently drag her fingers through his hair, "Listen hon, it's totally fine to be..gay for someone- even if sometimes it's your best friend but the heart wants what it wants." She shrugged lightly, enjoying the softness of her son's curls.
"What am I going to do?" The boy mumbled through his hands, barely looking up due his embarrassment.
The two mothers exchange glances, hoping to help their son in some way.
"Confess." Chelsea states plainly, making the tan teen look up from his hands.
"Wha-?"
"Tell him the truth, dear- the sooner you do, the better it'll be to get off your chest." Jenny guides him back to understanding, placing her light hand over her son's.
"But what if he doesn't feel the same- what if this fucks up our relationship..?" The teen panics quickly, the thought of being rejected by the crush he had no idea he was falling for until now- it was terrible.
"You'll never know until you try, sweetie. Don't push yourself to do it but you can't expect to wait for him to give you an answer or not." His other mother joins in, wanting to calm down the boy again.
"I-I guess you're right.." He sighs shakily, "I'll do it tomorrow- i'll confess to Jeremy..to my crush." He grows a small grin as his mothers smile back at him, Chelsea pulling him into a side hug.
"Now that's my gay son- you go out there and get your man. Protect him as he protects you, love until you can't anymore. And if things don't go right, don't get too caught up on it or else you're just wasting precious time of your life." She shakes her head before leaning down to kiss Michael's forehead. He nods slowly, looking back over to Jenny,
"Thank you, mom. To both of you but just- thanks."
"Of course baby, anytime." She chuckles softly, pulling her Junior son into a hug with such soft and proud energy.

"Wait up!" The tall teen shouts towards his friend as they reach the sidewalk out of the school to go home. Michael looks back at him with a nervous smile on his face,
"O-Oh, sorry.."
"It's no big, dude- you've just seemed a little out of it today, something going on?" Jeremy tilts his head at the smaller boy besides him, their shoes disappear under them with every step towards the end of the path.
"Uhm- yeah, would you wanna..like- come over to hangout?"
The light-haired boy cocks a brow with a smirk, "Again? Now there must be something really important about all these hangouts, huh?"
"I mean- you don't have to come over! I was just suggesting it." Michael finished with a small nervous laugh, god damn- he was a wreck for this boy.
"No, it's fine- I like hanging with you. " Jeremy admits with a gentle smile, totally deepening the color of the dark-haired boy's cheeks.
"A-Awesome."

'God, we've been playing video games for hours- just fucking tell him already!' Michael screamed in his head, watching the screen not as contently as he wished he was.
He was brought back to live when Jeremy lays back and groans, "Lost again.."
Michael just nods slowly and sets his controller down, "Uh- hey Jeremy, I know this may sound random and shit but I just really need to get this off my chest."
The tall teen looks and fixes his position, paying attention to the boy across from him.
"..I..like you."
. . .
"Well- I like you too, dude-"
"No. n-not like that- I-I mean, I like like you." The boy lets out with a shaky breath. He was hoping this take away at least some of the pressure on his chest but it never did- what was Jeremy going to say?
They say there, eyes locked and connected as his crush takes in the words and slowly starts to contact and sanity. His face was covered in pink, a deep shade of it actually.
'Well, what does that mean?' The brown-eyed boy thinks, furrowing his brows together- hoping for some damn words.
"L-Like actually..?" Jeremy musters out of his flustered state not-so-easily. Michael looks up, hopeful stars in his eyes,
"Yeah, actually."
"I..feel the same way."
The teen's heart stops for a second at the words- the double confession, he couldn't help but think of his mom's.
"Oh my god Michael- you don't know how long l've been wanting to say that a-and here you are, doing it before me!" Jeremy laughs, embarrassed.
"Y-Yeah, I just learned about it yesterday- who knew?" Michael shakes his head slowly, adjusting his glasses.
The two flustered boys sat across from each other, taking the love they'd confess to heart so deeply.
"C-Can I—uhm— kiss you..?" The taller teen asks gently, making the other look up suddenly from his lap.
After a moment of taking in the words, he finds himself nodding- allowing the boy lean over towards the other, encasing their lips together in a gentle but loving kiss.
Soon enough, the red was glowing on their cheeks. They hoped this could happen for forever (HAH-) but all good things have to come to an end.
Jeremy pulls back to look into his crush's full blown brown eyes.
"What made you realize you had feelings for me?" He asks toward the boy, a small smile curved on his lips.
"Uhm- just..ranting about how amazing you are." Michael admits with a small laugh, totally embarrassed at the fact.
"That's adorable- but you're always adorable so i shouldn't be surprised." Jeremy grins proudly as the smaller boy playfully punches him in the arm,
"Shut up.." He mutters with a smile, a content one- one that would stay on forever by Jeremy.
