I know we said forever would be our thing
But what does forever really mean?
Fairytales give you this hope that happily ever afters actually exist
But this is reality and in life it doesn't work like that and that's what some people don't want to admit
Yea sure, in the moment everything seems perfect, everything seems right, as we reminisce about the times we've spent
But nothing is perfect and everything has an end
So I don't blame you for us not being together
I guess now I know forever never really means forever
