My name is Outlander. I have been on earth for hundreds of light years and every eighteen years I take a new host and form. I was sent by my kind to monitor human behaviour to learn of mankind and their emotions and I'm yet to understand why humans are so fragile, why they age and die. Why their minds are so complexed and why they act clearly on emotion and impulse. Today marks the eighteenth of three billion and forty thousand light years I've been on earth. And for my next host, I decided to take the form of a human a baby girl who is about to die. Her name is Kyra. I will lead my life as Kyra a human girl to understand in depth what human emotion is like. Sometimes to understand a race you need to become one of them.
