How the fuck are we supposed to hide an Angel?!
I went through the portal with Alex and Eliza and when we got back to hell it was pure Chaos
Demons were everywhere, screeching, fighting, howling, dancing, drinking, it was insanity
John, Herc, and Laf were nowhere to be seen, even if you could see through all the demons
Eliza clung onto me, her nails digging into my arm
"Head to the cages!" Alex said before getting swept into the crowd
"The where?!" I said
Please tell me he didn't say the cages-
He did?
Damn it-
"P-Please don't make me stay here" Eliza said though I could barely hear her
"I don't have much of a choice dear" I said and started leading her away from the crowds
"W-where are you even taking m-me?!" She asked trembling
"The cages" was all I said and Eliza went pale
"N-no... p-please" she went back to crying
"Look I don't wanna do this as much as you do, but if I wanna keep myself alive and well then I need you to cooperate" I snapped back at her
"W-why do I care a-about you?!" Eliza shot back
"I- ugh just don't make me drag you there!!" I said back, making her shut up
I grabbed her wrist and flew through hell, going down abandoned passages and tunnels until we got to the cage room, which thankfully was empty, except for well, the cages
The Cage room was just a large cavern full of dangling cages. It's a bottomless pit, so if you don't have wings, well, then you're screwed
Eliza panicked and beat against me again "Let me Go!" she cried
"Will you shut up!?" I said exasperatingly as I practically dragged her over to a cage
"N-No, Please let me go!!" She kept trying but it was of no use
I got to a cage and opened it then threw Eliza in, locking the door after she was in
Eliza got up and threw herself against the sides of the cage, screaming and calling for somebody, anybody, to help her, but no one came
I hung onto the side of the cage and watched her until she gave up and plopped down, crying heavily in the corner farthest from me
I watched her and felt a twinge of pity for her, but I had to do this
Eliza wrapped her wings around herself and eventually cried herself to sleep
I sighed and climbed up on top of the cage and sat down with my legs hanging over the side
What a mess this was......
I was knocked out of my trance when something tiny came up and hugged me from behind "Auntie Maria!!!" A tiny voice said happily
I smiled and turned around "Hey Pip, how's it going?"
Quick story time:
Some time ago, Alex was flying around in New York when he saw a small baby abandoned on the road. He flew down and found out that the baby had small demonic wings. Upon seeing these, Alex brought the baby back to hell where he belonged and started raising him. Now here he is, 9 years old with only the name Phillip and an old blanket to connect him to his mysterious past
Phillip, or pip smiled brightly, his little freckles dancing across his skin "I'm doing great! Though it's really loud everywhere and I couldn't find pops so I assumed he was with everyone else again"
"He probably is, it'll be best if you stay with me tonight and tomorrow" I said hugging him
He hugged back happily "Yay another sleep over!" He said happily
This kid is too cute to be a demon-
"So, it's been a bit since your 9th birthday, have you powers start to come in?" I asked pulling away
Pip nodded enthusiastically "Yep, well, sort of" he clarified
"Sort of?" I asked
"Yeah, I don't really have any control over them, and they seem to be changing. Oh! One time I was with uncle Laf and I sneezed and I caught his beard on fire" He giggled and I laughed
"Oh I wish I had seen that" I said through laughing
"It was pretty funny" Pip said smiling before looking down into the cage "Auntie Maria?" He asked
"What's up Pip?" I said back
"Who's that?" Pip asked, pointing to Eliza "is she an Angel??"
Oh Boy-
"Uhm......... what would you do if I said she was.." I said
"Oh I wouldn't do anything, but Mr. Washington might if he found out" he said
I shivered, thinking of a whole slue of punishments that could likely happen
"Yeah, so how about we don't tell him-" I said and Pip giggled "Deal"
I sighed. Thank god Phillip liked me
"Why is she even here?" Pip asked, climbing down to go get a closer look
"Well, she was about to turn your Auntie Maria into the Angels, so I brought her here so she couldn't do that" I said
"Oh ok, why would she want to turn you in?" Pip asked looking back up at me
"Well...... I got a bit lost and I ended up in Angel territory" I admitted
"But aren't we not aloud to go there?" Pip asked
"That's right, I was just lost" I said and Pip nodded
"Got it" He looked back in at Eliza "What's her name?" he asked
"It's Elizabeth, though she told me to call her Eliza" I said back
"Cool, she's very pretty" He said
