Prologue

" You've kept everything right?" asked her mother. "Yes !" she replied with tears in her eyes. " Don't be worried baby, we'll contact you soon. And then u have Lucinda with you, she'll keep informing you about us and us about you." her father exclaimed. " You're never gonna be away from us. We're right by your side and right in your heart, Evi." said her mother. Evilna crying loudly ran into her parents and hugged them hard. They smiled trying to hold back their tears.
"Sir, ma'am the flight is about to leave in a few hours, may I take madam Evilna?" asked Lucinda as she stood beside the window. The parents held their girl by her shoulders, wiped off her tears and asked Lucinda," Go! Take her, live and explore the beautiful world out there but beware of those humans. Love from us! " Evilna stepped back. She looked at Lucinda who nodded her head in a yes. Evilna walked up to the mirror and looked at herself. And it was in a wink that she changed into a pretty bat. Lucinda did the same. Evilna, flew off out of the window and Lucinda, carrying her luggage, followed her. The parents kept looking at their daughter until she was out of sight....

Evilna's mother, Evilini sat down on the bed with a thud. She looked at her husband who tried to console her. She said," Why did I ever read that book. Why was I the only witch who was to be the princess and who was to have Marges's powers. What will happen to my daughter? What will they do to her? I feel like punishing myself !" She started crying and Vamprous, her husband hugged her worriedly.

Evilini remembered the time hundred years ago when she was 116 years old.

She lived in Witch's-go-slavia and was the royal princess. She had grown up listening to stories of the evil vampires who were their enemies. She had been a girl who blindly believed in her parents and always kept away from Vampirewylvania : land of the vampires.
Evilini was a proud book reader. There was no spell which she didn't know. There was not a single book which she hadn't read. It was one day that she, while randomly going through her mother's room, found a dusty book which was hidden high up in the ceiling box. It was a hundred and twenty-four year old book. Evilini being a book worm, transformed herself into a bird and flew up to the book. She kept everything aside and sat down to read the book. She opened the book with a loud thud. It was a very heavy book and extremely dusty. It's one page filled the air with dust.
Evilini read the whole book in one go. It was about a witch boy and a vampire girl who fell in love with each other, despite everyone's hatred and discontentment. She began reading, " The girl ran away from Vampirewylvania and accompanied the boy in the deep woods of Witch's-go-slavia. They found shelter in the trunk of a thousand year old banyan tree. There they gave birth to a baby boy - Marges. He, being a hybrid of the Witches and the vampires possessed all the powers that were possible. He knew all the spells from the witch's land and all the transformations from the vampire's area. One day while he stood practising his spells by the black lake, he suddenly realized someone staring at him. He hurriedly looked back and saw a wizard with an extremely long beard rushing towards him, his wand in his hand, with hundreds of wizards following his command. Marges panicked and began running in the opposite direction when he saw a set of fierce vampires rushing towards him who were lead by a beastly vampire having monstrous fangs and a great red cape.
Marges couldn't understand what to do. He tried to turn into a bat but found himself bound by a spell in the air. He tried to use his spells but didn't remember any. He was extremely panick-stricken. He was soon captured by the vampires. Then there was a 25 years war between the vampires and the wizards to gain all the powers of Marges. The war had the mere motive of snatching away all the extra superpowers that Marges had and to have lordship over the whole world. Finally after the war, the wizards won. They burned him to death and drained all his powers.
But the powers, coming out of Marges's body, entered the body of an innocent witch, the princess, lying in the cradle of the royal Witch's-go-slavia's palace.
The brilliant Marges died and his parents were executed publicly to warn every witch, wizard, vampire and vamprina that if they do something like that, they'll be killed too. Since that day, nobody ever dared to love anyone from the enemy country. And since then till forever, Vampirewylvania and Witch's-go-slavia are heart-core enemies. And the mere reason that both the lands wanted Marges's' powers was just that they wanted to become so powerful that they may be able to finish their enemies forever."
" Phew !" she exclaimed after reading the book. She was a teen, only 116 years old. She was about to keep the book back in place when her mother entered the room. " What's my princess doing? " she asked and a flash of horror ran through her eyes as they fell on the book. She rushed towards Evilini and snatched the book from her hand. She slapped her hard and said," Dare you touch this book again ! Got me? Go now! " Evilini was stunned at such a behavior. She sobbed and ran into her room. She kept on crying and crying when she felt her mother's warm hands round her back. She looked up and then with an angry face looked away.
" My baby is not talking to me. Huh? " she asked Evilini. She didn't answer. The queen held her daughter gently by her arm and lifted her up in a sitting position. Evilini looked with anger in her eyes. " Listen to me. Come on. Okay... You don't talk if you don't feel like but after listening to me very patiently. Fine? "
Evilini looked at her mom who began," You read the whole book right ? See baby, the only reason I didn't want you to read this book was because you were the princess into whom entered all Marges's powers. You were the princess in the cradle. I always wanted to protect you. Except your father and me, nobody knows that those powers entered your body. Everybody thinks they escaped out in the sky. That book was written by one of our maids bacause she was the only one who was present at that time when the powers entered your body. We made her understand what could happen to you in pursuance of the incredible powers and thus she gave the book to us and left the palace forever. She is no more now. She was a trusted maid and she never told anybody your secret. This book never went out of this palace. It was always kept confidencial. We never wanted you to read it. I'm sorry that I didn't tell you anything earlier but baby that was only to protect you. And one more thing, always remember the vampires are the worst, even worse than the humans out there in the selfish world. Never dare to be friends with a vampire. Never ever even think of loving a vampire ! Okay? " Having said this she hugged Evilini, who understood everything perfectly. The book was thrown into the basement forever, out of anybody's reach.
Days, months and years passed and Evilini grew into a pretty witch. She was 124 now and being the Royal princess was the prettiest of them all. She was now a complete teenager and had reached the critical age of falling in love. One day,  as she was wandering in the garden some kilometers away from the black lake, she heard someone singing melodiously. She followed the voice which led her to the lake. The black lake was considered as the border between Vampirewylvania and Wtch's-go-slavia. It was a place which was visited and occupied by both the kinds but at different times of the day. That was the time of the vampires when Evilini heard the melodious voice. She understood it to be a vampire. Her mind commanded her to run away but she followed her heart which asked her to move on and explore. She walked slowly and carefully to the large brown tree under whose shade was the Vampire sitting. She hid behind it and enjoyed the melodious song. It was all of a sudden that the song was no longer to be heard. Evilini who was listening to the song with closed eyes sitting behind the tree, suddenly opened her eyes. A horrid sight met her. The Vampire was right into her face. He was staring at her with suspicion.
She got worried and was beginning to fly away when the Vampire held her hand. She was about to scream when he put his another hand on her mouth. She was horrified to death. He exclaimed, " Don't be worried, I won't do you any harm. But you shouldn't be here at this time. It's me this time who is not going to do anything wrong to you. But you seem an innocent witch. If there would have been any other vampire other than me, they could have seriously injured you. Got that. Now go ! And don't venture out alone like this again." Evilini was shocked. What her mother had told her about the vampires was just different from what happened. According to her mother, the Vampire should have, by now, tore her into pieces and suck her blood up but that was far way from what had actually happened. He put his hands away from her mouth and wrist and went and stood by the lake. Evilini kept looking at him when he turned and said," I hope you heard me ! Go! "
In no time he transformed into a bat and flew off in the purple sky.  Evilini couldn't move her eyes from him. She now had an uncomfortable soft corner for the vampires and a desire to know them more. Just then, she heard someone calling her from the back. It was Lucinta, a trusted household maid and Evilini's best friend. She exclaimed," Evi! What are you doing here at the hour of the vampires ? Everyone's searching for you everywhere. Come on! The queen is gonna beat you up, right there!" Evilini looked at her and said, " Yeah! I was about to come. " She, along with Lucinta went back to the palace, but kept on repeatedly looking at the back to see if that vamp was still there. " What's there? " asked Lucinta. " A...a... Nothing! " said Evilini. Lucinta got suspicious but decided to let the topic calm at the moment. They ran up to the palace. The moment they entered, the queen came rushing to Evilini. She said, " Evi I've told a thousand times not to arrive at that lake at the vampires' time. You're okay ? Did they hurt you ? My baby!" She started moving her hand over Evilini's face in worry. Then she hugged her tight and said, " Mumma always knows the best okay ? Now go to your room and relax till dinner is ready." Evilini went to her room followed by Lucinta.
" So....who was he? " asked Lucinta. " He ? Who he?" replied Evilini. " Come on Evi, I know you met a wizard. Now tell me do you really like him? " asked Lucinta. " " A....a... " stammered Evilini," Ya, I did like him at first. But he is not a....a...wizard. He's a vampire and I can't even think of him. " " O-o.... Vampire? Not possible." said Lucinta. " I told ya. Come on let's go for dinner. Luci, don't waste my time. " said Evilini rushing out of the door. Lucinta followed.
Days passed and Evilini again heard the song by the lake. That day she went to talk to the Vampire. He looked at her lovingly. He was a white-faced handsome boy. Evilini fell in love with him instantly. They started meeting eachother everyday by the lake at the same time. Lucinta, though not willing, but supported her. She knew that them falling in love was very dangerous since they were from the different worlds. Lucinta was afraid that history will repeat itself. She tried to warn Evilini but couldn't do so. Evilini was blind in the vampire's love. It was finally one day that things got worse. It was a dark, twilight when the queen witch got to know about her daughter's love with the Vampire. She restricted her daughter from moving out. She never wanted everything to be repeated again.
But Evilini, desperate in love, one day ran away with Vamprous into the dark woods of Vampirewylvania. They both hid themselves there. Lucinta died while trying to protect them and left her daughter, Lucinda in Evilini's hands. Evilini and Vamprous with little Lucinda in Evilini's arms, ran away to the woods. The wizards and the witches and the vampires and the Vamprinas couldn't do anything. There was again a 6 year war following there run-away since both the rivals thought that it was the mistake of the opposites that led to the escape of another cross couple. Transylvania and Witch's-go-slavia were on the bitter side now. They were now something more than enemies. They wanted to finish each other after this.
Years later Evilini and Vamprous gave birth to Evilna, their pretty daughter. She was a white - faced witchrina ( witch+vamprina). She had large grey eyes and natural hot pink lips. She was prettier than any creature ever born. The reason being that she was a super-hybrid, since she was the daughter of a Vampire and a super powerful witch. It was certain that again the vampires and the wizards would be after Evilna, to snatch her powers, as they did with Marges.
Thus, to protect Evilna from her ancestors, Evilini and Vamprous decided to send her to the land of the humans, to America.....
