Breathe.
Dont focus on anything else.
Just breathe.Dont care and the blood trickling down my face.
Just breathe.
I forced my neck to look left and saw a body tied down like I was, on a plank of wood, but, lifeless, motionless, breathless.
A door clicked shut, foot steps then a sound like a blunt instrument colliding with a soft target and a male cough of pain. Rubber foot soles screeched across the polished concrete floor as if someone was being dragged by their arms and laid on the wood to my right.
I quietly as I could turned my head back so I was facing the ceiling and wait for what happens next. What is this place?
Panic ran riot but I remained silent.
The corrugated celeing starts to go out of focus and my body relaxes as I fall into an oblivion.
I get woken up and I'm out of the cellar, in a warm room with a soft bed, the risk of more danger fills my mind.
"Afternoon Miss Lang."
A male voice. A bad intentioned smirk planted itself a cross his face.
I stayed silent. But squinted in concentration.
"We are the M.O.K.A, the Millionaires Offspring Kidnappers Association."
"Millionaires? You must have the wrong girl." I try to say as confidently as I possibly could with out my voice wavering and cry like a weak baby.
"We like money, Miss Lang and you being as naïve as you are, wouldn't understand."
"Try me." Aggression came over me like a wild fire on dry grass.
How dare he underestimate my intelligence.
"This is how it works, we ask for 1 million dollars in 5 days from your parents, whom I can assure you are millionaires, and every day we don't get out money we give you that many and whips, slaps, punches, and my personal favourite, tazors." Electricity shot down my spine in alarm.
"What is going on in that sick little head of yours?" I spat without realizing I had said it until he trapped me by the hair and dragged me out of the room and down the corridor, while I was kicking and screaming, not that it would help.
He grabbed a rectagonal rounded black box from the door way and took me into an octagonal room.
My hair was released, I tried to run but I was rugby tackled onto the floor, by a fat guy and left me laying on my back ,struggling for breath he cleated down my hands and feet then whispered -at this moment in time he is looking surprisingly calm and like a professional Dick head-
"Say goodbye to your daddy," then buried it under my hair, seconds later which felt like a few short minutes, a billion volts, surged through my now unconscious body making my nose bleed and my body fit.
I tore my eye lids open. They focused on smirk face. Of all people it had to be him, his unbrushed teeth his hair and the reaking stench of stake smoke whirled around me.
My arms and legs we not cleated down anymore, but I was laying in the padded recliner. As a spur of the moment choice I clenched my fist and planted it on the tip of his nose with and upwards force. He deserved it.
He fell backwards.
"You broke my nose you bitch!"
"Ouch, your nose hurt my hand, but God that felt good."
I laughed as I spoke and enjoyed the moment of adrenalin but it was short lived.
My arms were grabbed and pulled backwards off the Padded recliner I was perched in and wonderful breath out if my lungs and onto the floor, my hands behind my back and the box behind my ear and a knee on my back shut me up. I dropped my head to the floor in defeat, no escaping now.
I was exhausted. The thought of why I am here and what my father had to do with his made me sick.
1st of all this chapter isn't great, it's short and badly written. I am in the process of re writing all of my earlier chapters, ie all chapters before chapter 19. So, my mini mafia I hope you decide to stick with this slightly shitty book and have faith in me, if you don't, that's your choice but I would love it if you stayed! :p
The chapters become more mature and for older readers as the book goes on. My usual cheaper are around 2000 - 3500 words and this is under 600 so that's another difference later in the book. I hope you enjoyed anyway so on with the book
