Kim Youngkyu POV

"There is something I want you to have", Jihoon said.

"What is it?", I smiled at him as I asked.

He return the smile, take out a small black box from his pocket and hand it over to me.

I opened the box and saw a shining ring. It was not just a regular ring, it has intial carved on it.

"Jihoon, Isn't this...", I was cutted by Jihoon.

"Yes it is yours", he answered.

This brought back our precious sweet memories together.

Flashback

It was the 3rd monthsery from the day we start dated each other.

We decided to get ourselves couple rings each for both of us.

So we went to the jewelry shop and got matching rings carved with our intials on it ;

KYK - on Jihoon's ring.
PJH - on mine.

But one day when we were training in our practice room, I was feeling hyped and giddy that it made me jumped around the room.

Unfortunately, the ring on my finger slips out and flew away. It has slipped behind the large speaker with wires tangled.

"andwae!!!", I cried out as I tried to stretch my arm behind the speaker.

"Kyunnie, stop! that's dangerous", Jihoon warned me.

"b-but my ring...It's gone...", I said as tears welled up.

"No, it's okay", Jihoon rubbed the tears away from my cheeks with his thumb.

"here", Jihoon pulled his ring from his finger and hand it over to me.

"no I can not accept that. That is yours and I don't want you to lose it just like I did", I stated.

"I'm fine. You should have it", Jihoon said.

I was touched by Jihoon and wrapped my arms around his neck, giving him a hug.

"I'm sorry and thank you Jihoon", I whispered into his ears.

Author's POV(still flashback)

After what happened, Yongkyu went to the toilet to freshen up. Jihoon took this advantage to search for her ring.

In short, Jihoon succeed in finding the girl's ring between the tangled wires.

He walked out of the room to find his girlfriend.

As he walked down the hallway, there was another trainee which was one of Yongkyu's best friend.

"Hi Jihoon", the girl batted her lashes.

"Oh, hi. Have you seen Yongkyu?", Jihoon asked.

"hmmp! Why do you always look for her, when you can have me all for yourself?", she said cutely as she crossed her arms across her chest which made Jihoon startled at her action.

The trainee became more daring and started to walk towards the confused boy until his back was touching the wall.

Jihoon's eye was widen as he was still in shock with the girl action when she rested her hands on his chest and proceed to kiss him in the lips.

"how could you, Jihoon?", a voice was sounded from a short distance.

Jihoon immediately pushed the girl away from him.

"Kyunnie, it's not like what you think...", Jihoon blurted out as soon as he saw Yongkyu.

"forget about it", Yongkyu said with tears threatened to fall as she left the scene.

"Yongkyu,wait!", that was the last words came out from Jihoon after she dashed out the hallway.

Just like that, Jihoon didn't get to explain to her girlfriend about the incident because that was the last day he could see her before entering produce 101 for more than 3 month.

End of flashback(still author POV )

"Jihoon... I don't know what to say", Yongkyu stuttered in the midst of trying to find sentences.

Jihoon streched his arms to held Yongkyu's hand, trying to get her attention.

As Yongkyu bring her head up, she saw a shining gleam of the boy's eyes which automatically makes her smile like a fool.

Jihoon gently insert the ring on her finger.

"You're beautiful smile is enough for me", Jihoon remarked as he patted the girl's head in awe.

"You gave me back my ring so I would like you to keep yours", Yongkyu said while smiling as she pull her necklace around her neck and revealed a ring which belongs to Jihoon.

Yongkyu then insert the ring on his finger.

"You still kept it", Jihoon said in a mock tone.

Yongkyu only smiled cheekily at the boy.

"How could I ever forget about you?", Yongkyu commented.

The two intertwined their hands and they swing back and forth little by little.

"Kyunnie, let's promise be there for each other ", Jihoon stated.

"I can't", Yongkyu countered. "What if I go to the bathroom?", she jokingly said.

Jihoon looked at Yongkyu and frowned.

"Oh my god Jigoo, I was joking! I'll promise to be there for you...",  the girl pouted.

Jihoon slightly pouted before making a pinky promise hand gesture with Yongkyu with a bright smile.

"Let's go home now", Jihoon suggested.

With that the couple went to their apartment hand in hand and side by side.

hi there fellow readers. I know it's been awhile and I decided to finishing this story (i will try) before this month ended with 3-5 chaps since I will be having my exam next month and followed by my finals so I will be in a hiatus till Nov but I promise I will upload new story which was drafted from few months back and I thought it will be an interesting story so hold your horses!!!
