Chapter 1 - Getting Ready

Springtraps POV:

From the time I was born, I was abused.

It's alright though, I got used to it.

I lay on my lumpy bed, looking at the rotten ceiling, I sigh and lift myself up. "Wonder what's going to happen today" I whisper, I have to be quiet, since it's better that dad doesn't hear me.

I get off the bed and tip toe to my dresser, it's a really old one, the thing could fall apart at anytime. I carefully open it, feeling it creak and the noise hurts my ears, I look at my door in worry, hoping he doesn't barge in.

After I listen to the sounds around me, hearing no heavy footsteps, I open the drawer fully. I pull out a red plain shirt and some jeans, both have a few holes in them, I get dressed and open my door with a creepy creak. Again, I check to see if anyone is walking around, I step out and close the door slowly.

I sigh relieved and turned, I nearly jump out of my skin when I saw my little brother, Plushtrap. "Plushtrap, you nearly gave me a heart attack!"I whisper shout. "Sowwy" he apologizes, he hugs me and asks if I can hold him, I pick him up and tip toe downstairs to the mouldy kitchen.

"Hey, since nothing here is good, I'll get you something from school ok?" I say looking at the spoiled food, he nods and hugs me again. "Why are you up so early anyway?" I ask, looking at him. "I had a nightmare, and I heard you, so I got up" he said in his five year old voice, I sigh. "Another one? That's the third one this week, hey do you want me to tuck you in before I go?" He nods and points to the stairs, we walk across the rotten planks of the floor, careful to not step on the wrong ones. We reach his room and I place him on his little bed, he goes under his sheets, since that's what he uses for a blanket and looks at me.

"Now, get some more sleep, remember what we have to do tonight" I say, he nods and closes his eyes, I get out of his room and go out the back door. I breath in deeply and breathe out, I get to the front yard and start walking on the sidewalk, to school.
