Pass-out

"Hey !" I greeted.

He didn't say anything but nodded at me for an answer.
I sat down beside him and playfully put my arm around his neck, gently grabbing the side of his face.
"What's up with you?"
"Nothing, I'm just tired."

"Oh, come on man! I know you and something is not right."
He looked at me with a pitiful expression.
"Tell me Colbs."
He sighed and laid down on the bed.
"It's just something stupid. Nothing to worry about"
 "Hey !" I turned around and crossed my legs. "If it's making you upset it's something to worry about."
He looked at me for a while, then looked up at the ceiling.
"I just feel a bit lonely, that's all."
He intertwined his fingers and let his hands rest on his belly.
"Lonely how?" I asked.
"I mean, I'm the only one left of us who don't have a girlfriend."
"Oh but Colby," I laid on my stomach. "I'm sure there's someone who wants you."
He moved to his side and rested his head on his arm."How can you be so sure?" he questioned me.
"You're a good-looking guy, you have great humor, you are nice and so on." I counted on my fingers. "And by the way, you're wrong, 'cause I still haven't found my prince charming," I said and smirked at him.
"But you can have any guy out there." He looked at me."I'm not special like that."
I questionably frowned at him.
"What are you saying?"
"That you're special, Lacey." he looked distant.
I smiled at him and put my hand on his cheek, stroking it gently. "You're special too, sweetheart."

Suddenly Kat slammed open the door. She was panicking and screaming my name.
"Help, Joanne! Sam passed out !" she looked helplessly at me with tears in her eyes.
I jumped up from the bed and ran into Sam's room. There, on the floor he was laying, face down. I ran up to him and flipped him over to his back.
As I checked his pulse and awareness I demanded Colby to have Sam's legs in a high position and Kat to go get some water. "Do you have your phone?" I asked Colby. He nervously rested Sam's leg on his shoulder and gave me his phone.
I thanked him and turned a timer on and then dialed 911. Prepared to call the emergency services and timing the pass out.
Kat came with two glasses of water and sat by me. "Is he going to be alright?" she was worried.
"Of course, love." I smiled at her to try and calm her.
"What happened before he passed out?" I asked Kat but before she could answer Devyn and Corey came into the room wondering what had happened. Calmly I told them Sam had passed out and went back to listening to what Kat was saying.
She told me he had stood up and then just fallen apart again and that he had been in a bad mood all day. Kat was very worried, no wonders, so Devyn helped her calm down.

Five minutes had passed and I was about to call the ambulance but right as I was about to Sam started waking up.
"Sam?" I firmly asked.
He moaned and then started coughing. Colby put his legs down and I helped Sam sit up and drink some water. He was very pale.
"Sam, what have you been eating today?" I looked him in the eye.
He shrugged "Not a lot."
"Okay, how are you feeling?" I put the inside of my wrist to his forehead to check his temperature. He was warm."Go get the thermometer," I asked Colby.
Sam looked distant, which worried me.
"Sam?" I waved my hand in front of his face. "How are you feeling?"
He looked at me. "I'm cold and dizzy. I just want to sleep."
Colby handed me a thermometer and I took Sam's temperature. It was too high.
"Okay, Colby, help him up." He grabbed Sam's arm and put it around his shoulders and supported him around his back with his other arm. Corey walked up to us and helped Colby get Sam up as ran and got my car keys. They started walking towards the stairs slowly. I checked Sam's pulse before they could continue downstairs.
I walked outside to my car before them to help them get Sam in the car, then sat in the driver's place and drove to the hospital with him, Kat and Colby.
