Michael: a 16 year old, abused, worthless and ugly kid; or at least he's worthless and ugly in his opinion. His father beats him, calls him things. And Michael believes him. He knows these things are true. He's fat. His body is disgusting.
Ashton: a 18 year old, bubbly, happy and adorable kid. He loves his life. Everyone likes him. He's just a likeable person. He is attractive. His family is nice. He has great friends. Everything is perfect. But when he meets Michael, he finds something that he'd never felt before; love.
