Everything was dull and the same. Nothing ever really happens in Midnight Hour so quite honestly keeping watch was kind of boring. That was until she came along and then I felt as though I was watching a movie. Her interactions with everyone, the way they fell for her innocence and kindness. She was all everyone could talk about, most of the talk was rumor, but that was from those who never saw her. As her role in our secluded town became more prominent my job as watchman became more entertaining. That's why I couldn't let them find out, they wouldn't find out about her.
