The bone chilling wind drew across her face, as an artist would draw over their paper. Her eyes burned with something more powerful than the word. It would make anyone in her presence shiver in their own skin. Her long ,sandy blond hair whipped around her face making it hard for her to see without a strand interrupting her sight. Her eyes were emerald green that were buried in sadness. She walked home with her small daughter. Her daughter had the same beautiful blond hair as her mother, just cut under her shoulder. Her deep grey eyes were lit with a flame of happiness. Her bag bounced around with ever full hearted step. It’s as if she was dancing to a song, matching her feet with the rhythm.
“How was your day?” her mother questioned, her voice was so soft and kind as if she would never hurt a fly. Their were lies behind that. Lies she swore never to croak about to her family.
“Great momma! We learned to count and how to say our abc’s. I really enjoyed seeing Emma again!!” Her daughter basically sang. Her voice had a touch of innocence that was rare now a days. Her smile shined her straight, fanged teeth. They walked almost in unicien, her mother slightly stepping after her daughter only to watch the steps she took and the humming of her songs going through her head. Her mother only smiled around her. One of the girl’s brother was cold hearted. He never made them smile, only brought them down to his level.
They walked up their cracked, damaged stairs and entered their house.
