We were given mics and then our music started playing and Laurence turned to me and gave me a wink when I sung the first verse. I felt my heart flutter.

Surprisingly for everyone else, Zane 'Happened' to know Spanish so he took the Spanish part. Mommy made us all learn Spanish when we we're little.

As we finished singing, Laurence, Zane, and I walked up to the front and took a bow while the crowd exploded with applause. Zane started walking offstage, so I naturally followed him, thinking we were going off.

     I suddenly felt a strong tug at my wrist. I was forced around and noticed Laurence had grabbed my wrist. He pulled me close, so close I could feel him breathing on me. He backed up a step and bent down on one knee. The world froze around me and all I could focus on was him, with his wide, sapphire blue eyes  staring at me, the affection clearly visible. He moved my hand that was holding the mic between us and started talking while he held my free hand.

     "Y/N, without you, my heart feels empty, emotionless, and, frankly, pretty sad. Only you can fill my heart to its full potential and whenever you are with me, you make me happy. Will you, Y/N Rómave, give me the honor of being your boyfriend?"

     I immediately turned to Garroth who was sitting shocked in the crowd while crying tears of joy.

   He nodded his head up and down in approval. I turned back to Laurence.

     "Took you long enough." I responded teasingly. "Yes I will be your girlfriend Laurence." He stood up and hugged me tightly. I hugged him back, and soon, everyone started clapping. We walked off the stage holding hands, both having a huge grin on our faces. Lucenda, Cadenza, and Melissa ran up to me and gave me a hug. Garroth went up to Laurence and did a handshake and then a hug to thoroughly congratulate him on his new girlfriend.

Laurence and I eventually made it out of the chaotic room together and made our way outside.

“So, that was fun.” Laurence mumbled awkwardly.

“Laurence, what you said on the stage I-I-just want to say that I love you Laurence Zvahl.” They stared at each other for a few seconds before walking to the car.

“I love you too Y/N Rómave. I always will.”
I blushed a little bit at that statement. We truly loved each other. Perhaps we were soulmates. We got into the car and Laurence started to utter a few words.

“How about we go to the hotel room and watch Netflix?”

“Yeah, that would be great.”
