Bolt let out a sigh as he sat on a bench. He was worn out after practicing some tricks he tried to get down. His friend, Tom, handed him a bottle of water. "You're really getting those tricks down, I'm impressed!" Said Tom with a smile. Bolt took drank his water, then finally said, "Thanks, you too." in an unusual monotone voice. Tom has grown concerned over Bolt since last week, mainly because of how sad and restless he looked, even sounded. "Hey Bolt?" Tom finally spoke up. Bolt turned to look at Tom, but right when Tom was going to say something, she was getting a phone call. Tom thought for a bit and got an idea so she quickly picked up the phone. It was Tom's friend, Josh. While Tom talked to him, she looked at Bolt and smiled. "We're going to go to the cafe!" Said Tom after hanging up. Bolt sighed and stood up, "Alright then." He mumbled as he slightly tilted his head to the side, facing the floor. Tom and Bolt walked down to the cafe where they would eventually meet up with Josh. Tom knew Josh was an amazing friend and maybe, just maybe, could help Bolt feel better and less lonely, especially since he only has two friends which was her and some other guy who's name she couldn't remember. Tom wouldn't have been doing this but she had felt like something was up with Bolt. Sure, he was sad from time to time, but this felt different to Tom, like something bad happened to him to feel this way. He looked hungry, tired, sad, almost every negative emotion, it didn't feel right. Josh picked his head up and saw Tom and a taller guy who he assumed was the 'Bolt' guy. Josh waved at both at them which got their attention. Tom waved back and turned their head to Bolt. "That's Josh, your new best friend!" Tom said with a huge smile. Bolt showed some interest and turned to see Josh. He was sure to forget his name soon though since he wasn't good with names. Bolt slightly smiled at Josh in an attempt of trying to be friendly towards him. They got a table and sat down. "So, Bolt, I think you should introduce yourself to Josh" Tom said with a smile. Bolt looked a bit to the side and bit his tongue a little. He let out a sigh and finally spoke up. "Hey I'm Bolt nice to meet you." He quickly said and then took a sip from his vanilla milkshake which disappointed Tom. Tom groaned and rolled her eyes, "Alright Josh how about you introduce yourself?" Josh flinched a bit and already became nervous. "Uh.. m-my name is Josh, you know that already.." he mumbled the last part, "I like to do coding and s-stuff and.. hang out with.. friends.." He said trying his very best not to mumble anything. Bolt become more and more interested in Josh as time went by. It has now gotten dark outside and it's been about three hours, and yet it felt like such a short amount of time. They laughed together, then Tom took the last fry. She sighed and stood up and said "Let's get going, it's getting dark." She smiled. The two other guys stood up too and were getting ready to leave. Bolt went up to pay as Tom and Josh stood outside the front door waiting for Bolt. "So what do you think of him? Is he cool?" Tom asked Josh with a smile on her face as usual. He shrugged and said "He seems nice, I'll probably get along with him soon." He said as he smiled slightly and looked down at the concrete. They both heard a bell ding and turned around only to see Bolt walk out the door, ready to go home and crash into bed and never wake up. They walked home taking in the fresh, cool, night air. They said goodbye to each other and soon they were all at home. Bolt opened his door and turned on a couple of lights but not many to make the house bright. Before entering his home he had exchanged numbers with Josh so they could talk to each other and hopefully become closer. Josh's clock ticked. Every second went by, one, two, three, four.. he was already bored and tired of counting sheep. He decided he was going to go out for a walk since it felt nice outside. He got up from bed, opened his closet door and got out his favorite jacket to put on. He walked out of his house and began to walk to the park, which looked pretty during night time. As he walked he imagined pretty things and thought happy thoughts, but they were all soon interrupted by the buzzing of his phone. "Hm?" He got his phone out and recognized the number, it was Bolt. He smiled and answered, "Helloooo?" He said in a singy-songy tone. "Hey Josh, I was wondering if you'd like to come to a party Tom's friend is having, I think their name was Alex- no wait.." Josh giggled "Adam?" There was a small 3 seconds of silence of Bolt thinking "Oh, yeah, that. Adam is having a party, Tom's gonna be there." Bolt said. "I'd love to! When's the party?" Josh asked. "Tomorrow at 9:30 p.m., it'll probably end at like uh, three in the morning or something." 'Three?' Thought Josh, but he soon came to the conclusion it's probably because it's fun. "Alright, Adam lives near so we should all walk together." Said Josh and Bolt soon agreed to the idea. They both said goodbye and hung up. Josh decided he'd get some sleep after all and get ready tomorrow. After Josh hung up Bolt sighed. Maybe a new friend could help him feel less lonely and make him feel like he actually has a purpose. Things for Bolt weren't looking good and he hasn't been in the best state of mind. He thought he'd get up from the cold floor, but he couldn't. He was too tired to do anything. Too tired to eat, drink, think, move, basically anything. His body began to shake as tears started to form in his eyes. He curled himself into a ball and laid on the floor as he sobbed softly. He missed her and but he knew he needed to get over it. He started to breathe and calm down yet his body still continued to shake. He clutched his fists hard and punched the wall and yelled. "Stupid!" "Slut!" "Whore!" He repeated those words over and over until his hands began to bleed. He found it hard to stand up and breathe. He wiped his tears and dialed Josh's number.
