Chapter 1: After

A year has passed since the aftermath of the Warrior War.

"Whats the size?" Bryan says running.

"Small, but theyre all together" Hugh answers.

They run up to the watch tower to see a herd heading for The Trinity.

"Theyre going directly for them" Hugh says.

"Alright lets get the pack and drive them off" Bryan responds.

"Issac! Floyd! we got a herd heading for The Trinity, get a car." Bryan yells to them.

Issac and Floyd jump into a Jeep and head for the front of the herd.

"Did Aldermine give us the snipers we requested last week?" Bryan asks walking fast.

"Yes, the armory has 4" Hugh answers.

"How about the silencers from last month?" Bryan questions.

"Yes, in the third drawer" Hugh answers while they walk in to the armory.

"Take one" Bryan says handing him a sniper.

"I- I don't know how to work one" Hugh mumbles.

"Easy" Bryan says explaining while putting silencers on the snipers.

"Im gonna mess up" Hugh awkwardly replies.

"I thought the same, but you'll never learn if you dont start somewhere" Bryan says guiding them to the watch tower.

They begin to aim as the herd slowly starts moving direction.

"Aim for the ones in the back" Bryan responds to him.

Hugh lines up the sniper.

"Pull the trigger" Bryan says.

He shoots but misses.

"Aim near the side of the neck, youll get more accurate shots with these snipers" Bryan says shooting walkers.

The Jeep is seen honking at the herd and leads them off.

"How do they get back?" Hugh asks him.

"Theyll lead them off behind a building, and drive off the other direction until they make a U-turn and come back around coming from the North" Bryan explains.

"Okay" Hugh responds.

Hugh shoots a few walkers and Bryan takes out a good 30.

"They move in packs now, theyre never spread out anymore." Bryan says.

"Do you think there will be a herd that we cant beat" Hugh asks him.

"Low chance with the military were forming but it still could happen." Bryan answers him.

"Im gonna go find Mia" He says.

He climbs down the watch tower and heads back to his house. He opens the door to find Mia on the couch.

"Theres a herd moving to The Trinity"
Bryan says sitting down.

"Are they leading them away?" Mia asks.

"Yeah, they are" Bryan says back.

Mia kisses him and hugs him.

"Im just glad you're okay babe" Mia says to him.

"I love you" Bryan says to her.

"I love you too" Mia says laying her head on his shoulder.

"Hugh is at the watch tower, Floyd and Issac are leading them away, and the rest of us are still in their houses" Bryan responds.

"Ill get a car and help" Mia offers.

"No its okay, Issac and Floyd have it under control." He says to her.

"Okay, well we have to go to The Trinity in a few days for the trade" Mia says.

"What are we getting?" Bryan asks her.

"Vegetables" Mia says.

"Alright"

"Lets get some more supplies to trade off"
