There she was, standing in the middle of Granny's. Seeing her happiness slip away through her fingers once again. Robin embracing his 'dead' wife and Roland. Oh Roland the little boy whom she fell in love with each day. Her cute little boy and those adorable dimples. Now Roland wasn't hers nor was Robin. They were both Marion's now. How crazy it seemed that a woman can stroll into her life in a matter of seconds and destroy everything, then again there was Emma who strolled into Henry's life and took him away as well. Regina's eyes were filled with tears not being able to speak or move. As much as it hurt her to see the scene that was playing out in front of her she kept on watching. Regina just wanted to see what she couldn't have. A Family. She couldn't have it because she was a villain and villain don't get happy endings, they don't deserve it. Everyone's eyes went from the happy reunited family to glance at Regina. She didn't want anyone's pity, she didn't want everyone seeing her crumple down into a million pieces. She wasn't going to be vulnerable, at least not in front of them. Regina finally found the strength to move, she quickly left the diner pushing the door open hearing the bell ring behind her. Regina walked down the dark streets only lightened by a few street lights. Tears streamed down her cheeks. Regina kept her head down as she walked with her hands in her pockets. Regina walked and walked not knowing where exactly she was going she just had to be as far from everyone. Regina non the less found herself in her vault. She pushed the coffin revealing the hidden stairs. She walked down and entered her secret room. She was finally alone, completely. Regina let herself go, she fell to the ground as she sobbed letting out whimpers her breaths uncontrollable. All she kept thinking about was him, how much she loved him but now he was gone. He is loving another. "A second chance...that's all I am.." She whispered her voice cracking, no doubt that Regina is broken. This heartbreak was worse than anything she's experienced before, worse than when she lost Daniel, worse when she lost her father or her mother. This just hurt so much more. Regina has to see the man she loves every single day with another woman, a woman that isn't her. Just the thought of it made her heart ache. She couldn't handle this anymore, not again. Regina did the only thing her mind kept telling her, if it meant relieving all the pain then she had no other choice.
