Growing up to become Women

Chapter 5

Ya'll I'm so sorry that it is taking me so long to get my book finished. I have started school, so it is hard to get on here and complete what I started.

So there is the recap of the last chapter:

Everyone was looking like she had lost her everlasting mind. I felt some embarrassed. I put up my church finger and pushed Princess into the hospital.

I told her," Girl you was down bad putting in a show like you did." She rolled her eyes at me and said,

" You know that he deserved it." I nodded, and she went and got Waryn so we could leave.

Chapter 5

The next day Princess called and said,"Please help me move."

I said,"I'm by Troy.I'm on my way."

She said,"Call the ambulance."

I said,"Girl don't do anything stupid in front of that baby."

She said,"I can't grant that, but I shall try."

I hung up and said," Lord have mercy on Reggie's soul if he walks into that dome room. Amen." I said,"Troy I'm going for a little while. If I don't come back, um..... I'm going to be at the jail house with Princess." He just shook his head and laid down on the sofa.

I got to the dome and Princess had done packed almost everything.

I said,"Where are you going with all this stuff."

She said," If I brought it, I'm taking it."

I said,"Okay."

She said,"I won't be far away. I found a condo complex down the street."

I said." Cool, fine with me as long as I do 't have to help you pay for it."

She said," Don't worry about that. I got the money." We moved Princess into her condo. She was okay by now about braking up with Reggie.

Troy, Princess, and I went to a party Friday night. Troy brought is friend Matt from the basketball team. Matt just transferred from the University of Miami. He had just finished up football season, and needed another college to go to that had a better field in his major. So he chose Xavier, and him and Troy became the best of friends on the court.

While we were out, Princess got a call that her mother had died. We had to rush her to the hospital because he couldn't believe it, but when she got there, the doctor's were taking her off of life support. Princess ran out the hospital around the concern and to the park.

Matt took off after her to make sure she was okay. Troy was holding me because my legs had become weak underneath me. Princess's mom had been the back bone of the community when we were growing up. She would have frozen cups, candy , and chips. If we did something we wasn't suppose to, she whipped us. She was the mother of all mother's.

I loved her like she was my real mother. She even watched over me when my mother left me because she was  depressed  after my father's death. Troy and I left to go check on Princess and Matt. Princess was in Matt's arms. She was still crying, and had Matt's shirt wet like he had just got out of the pool.

When Princess did stop crying she had to  apologize to Matt about his shirt. He smiled and said,"It's okay. I was making sure you was okay. So it comes along with the process." Princess blushed, and said," Can we please do. I need some food." Matt said to Troy," First I need another shirt." Me and Princess laughed and walked to the car.
