I guess I am, that horrible kind of girl

"Hey, hey, hey~ Wassup Kai?" Chanyeol smiled his signature pearly white teeth grin.

"Nothing much, giant. Just thinking." Kai mumbled distractingly.

"Ooh~ I know that face, someone's in looooooove!" Baekhyun cooed.

"Oh, shut up!" Kai groaned, blush decorating his cheeks.

"Sooooooo...Who is it?" Sehun asked nudging him.

"Like I would tell you." Kai rolled his eyes.

"Awwwww... Come on! A hint?" Chanyeol begged.

"Nope. Now go back to your class, hyung." Kai ordered.

"Must be serious if he's calling you hyung." Baekhyun laughed.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Chanyeol pouted.

"Just go away...I won't tell you, it's a secret." Kai groaned.

"Someone's getting secretive. Come on, Yeol. Let's go." Baekhyun sassed.

After they left, Sehun continued nudging Kai. "So...Who is it?" He asked.

"Oh my God, Sehun!" Kai groaned.

You on the other hand was trying to ignore your childhood friend's groaning with your headphones which weren't jacked in anything. Reason why, to ignore anything and everything others thrown at you. Let's just say, you and Kai, as you know him Jongin, are on very different levels of popularity. While Kai is the top Kingka every girl wants their hands on, you were at the very bottom - which everyone classified as - nerds. Classifications doesn't make much of a difference to you, all of us were still normal humans. It's not because you were ugly or anything, it's just that, you are always quiet and always had your fake big frame glasses on, even so, some guys still find you attractive (they just never had the guts to confess to a nerd). Why weren't you helping your childhood friend with his love crisis? Ever since the 1st year of high-school started, you realised that Jongin was no longer a friend to you but, a crush. Afraid that the feeling would become stronger, you started to grow distant with him but, unfortunately, your feelings continued. Sehun was still trying to get Kai to spill - at least a letter - of his crush even during class which Kai replied with his signature smirk and wink that made you blush even though it wasn't directed to you, soon became a hot topic for the whole school during lunch. You checked on your school's blog and it was filled with: 3rd year Kingka, Kai, has a crush?! You immediately turned off your phone screen to ease the pain and jealousy in your heart and left the cafeteria to go outside.

But, that's was the biggest mistake you made. The moment you stepped into the yard, a voice made you stop. "Hey...Thanks for coming out, Krystal." You hid behind the wall and peeked to see if you're hunch was right. And to your dismay, Jongin was standing in front of Krystal, one of the top Queenka of the school.

"What is it, Kai?" Krystal asked.

"I-I like y-you for a while now. Please go out with me!" Kai bowed with a rose extended to Krystal.

Say no, please... Your heart begged.

"I-I'm sorry, Kai. I...I already have someone in mind." Krystal apologized awkwardly.

"O-Oh... That was embarrassing...Sorry." Kai chuckled nervously.

"I'm really sorry, Kai. I got to go." Krystal said and left.

Luckily, she just ran past you, to the other entrance to the yard and didn't discover that you heard everything. You peeked once again at Jongin who had a dejected look on his face. Seeing him like that made your heart hurt even more and you contemplated if you should comfort him or not. Deciding that it was a bad idea, you just watched Jongin from where you were. Not wanting to see that look anymore, you left and got ready for your next class.
