Queen VictoriaJuly 6th, 1518
The day has finally come that Henry kept talking about. Henry and I have been married for two weeks now and yesterday we annouced to the court that we were expecting our first child.
"Vicky?" A voice asked and I looked up to see Henry standing beside me.
"Are you alright love?" He asked and I nodded as he grabbed my hand and held it close.
"Just feeling sick that's all. The physician says I am almost in the second part of the pregnancy." I said and Henry smiled as he fixed my hair.
"Are you ready to be Queen? I am crowing you myself." He said and I nodded as I stood up and fixed my red robe.
"Beyond ready. The letters I have received for support have made today less nervous." I said and Henry chuckled.
"Come. The carriage is outside waiting for us. Mary is already at Westminister waiting for us." He said and I stared at him.
"She isn't there alone is she?"
"Of course not. She is with my sister Mary who she is named after." He said as we left our newly shared quarters and walked outside to the front of the castle where our carriages were waiting for us.
"Have my new ladies arrived?" I asked as I was helped inside. Henry closed the door and we soon took off.
"They arrive tomorrow. Today is all about you my love. England is getting a new Queen and one that will give them an heir." He said and I smiled.
"If it is a boy I want to name him Edward Jonathan," I said and Henry smiled.
"I like that name. He shall be named Edward Jonathan." He said as he kissed me softly. I grinned at him before the carriage stopped and I looked to see Westminister Abbey.
I cannot believe that two weeks ago I was married here. Henry climbed out of the carriage first and waved to the people. He fixed his crown before he offered me his arm and I stepped out of the carriage.
"Look! It's Queen Victoria!" Someone called out and I waved to the crowd before I wrapped my hand around Henry's arm as the doors opened.
Everyone stood to their feet when they saw us and the pair of us began walking down the aisle towards the thrones. Behind the thrones stood Charles Brandon, Mary Tudor, Archbishop of Sussex, Archbishop of Canterbury, and our Mary Tudor.
When we got to our thrones I spun myself around before standing in front of my throne. Henry cleared his throat before he turned and faced everyone.
"Sirs, I here present unto you Victoria, your undoubted Queen. Wherefore all you who are come this day to do your homage and service, are you willing to do the same?" He called out and everyone cheered.
"We will do the same!" They all called out and I found myself smiling. I sat down in my throne while the Archbishop of Canterbury handed Henry the crown.
"Will you solemnly promise and swear to govern the Peoples of England, according to their respective laws and customs?" Henry asked as he stood beside me.
"I solemnly promise so to do," I said as they lowered the orb into my right hand.
"Will, you to your power cause Law and Justice, in Mercy, to be executed in all your judgments?" He asked as they handed me the scepter.
"I will."
"Will you to the utmost of your power maintain the Laws of God and the true profession of the Gospel? Will you to the utmost of your power maintain in England the Catholic-Reformed Religion established by law? Will you maintain and preserve inviolably the settlement of the Church of Rome, and the doctrine, worship, discipline, and government thereof, as by law established in England? And will you preserve unto the Bishops and Clergy of England, and to the Churches there committed to their charge, all such rights, and privileges, as by law do or shall appertain to them or any of them?"
"All this I promise to do. The things which I have here before promised, I will perform and keep. So help me God." I said and Henry smirked as he lowered the crown onto my head and I held my breath.
"I present to you all. Queen Victoria of England!" Henry yelled and I watched as all of those who were standing quickly fell to a bow or curtsy.
"Long live the Queen!" Charles yelled from his spot and I felt chills all over my body as everyone repeated those words.
"Long live the Queen!"
I stood up and I smirked softly as I fixed the orb and scepter in my hand before I began walking down the aisle once again. Everyone who I walked by dipped their head at me and I smiled before I got towards the end.
I am now Queen. It all started when my father brought me to court and Henry saw me and instantly wanted me. I felt someone touch my arm and I saw Henry and Mary standing there.
I gave Henry the orb and scepter and he smiled at me.
"You are now Queen. No one can bring you down." He said before Mary lifted her arms up for me to pick her up.
"The only thing that would bring me down would be the moment you stop loving me," I said but Henry shook his head.
"That could never happen. I will love you always." He said before I looked down and picked Mary up.
"Long live the Queen." She said and I smiled softly.
"Long live the King and Queen."
