dianne's pov

i lay in bed cradling my 6th month baby bump as i watched joe pack up the last of our things. today would be our last night in the apartment, we're moving to a 5 bedroom house in hampshire to start our family.

i watched joe as he stood there staring at the boxes

"babe, come to bed" i said softly, opening up the duvet and patting the spot next to me. he took off his shirt and jeans and got into bed next to me before turning the light off and opening his arms for me to snuggle into

"this time tomorrow we'll be in our house with our new bed" he said kissing my head

"i can't believe it" i said looking up at him

"we'll raise all our kids there, that's to say if we have more after baby bean arrives. it'll be amazing" he said beaming down at me

i kissed him softly before closing my eyes to dream about our new home

our bedroom will have a queen size bed with a grey cushion headboard along with a grey throw over the duvet. the walls painted a very light grey with creme carpets and a few fluffy cushions on the bed. we would each have a bedside table soon enough it would have a baby monitor on it but for now there would be things like our phones, handcream, glasses etc. we had an ensuite so our bathroom was painted a white colour and then at the back of the room there was the shower, which had greeny blue colour tiles. to the left of the room was a big bath, big enough for two ;) and a small basket filled with bath bombs. to the right of the room were two sinks, one for each of us with a cabinet and mirrors on the outside. to the right of the sinks was the toilet.

the baby's room would be painted a very light pink with a kangeroo mobile hanging above. there would be a cot that she would be sleeping in once she was old enough but when she's first born she will be sleeping and mine and joe's room. in the cot currently, was a bunny, koala and teddy bear keeping it warm until she arrived. we were going to buy a rocking chair for us to sit in when we're feeding her, along with a cute little table next to it. there was going to be a box of tissues, a baby monitor and a few other things along with an empty frame  that was hopefully going to be filled with a photo of the three of us. on the opposite side to the cot would be a chest of drawers with all of her clothes in and then on top would be where we would change her nappy with all the things we needed when we're changing her in a basket next to us. hopefully her room would have a few more pictures, maybe some of cute baby animal stickers stuck up on the wall or some flowers. joe had already built her a small bookshelf where we were currently keeping some pregnancy books and a few baby books that our families had given us already.

the kitchen was beautiful, with a granite counter and island. by the island were stalls a bit like the apartment only this kitchen was about double the size. the cupboards were a dark navy and the walls were painted white. there was a big table and doors that led out to the wooden decking. we decided to have a big garden for our future kids to play in and if we get a dog, for that too. on the wooden decking was a small vegetable patch so we could grow our own food, along with some flower beds and we were going to keep all our plant children there too. there was a hose up there to water the plants with. there were stairs down to the garden or you could get straight to the garden by going through the doors in the living room. we thought once the baby gets older we could get a climbing frame or something and then to just down the steps from the wooden decking there was a table for eating on outside along with a bbq for the summer. we had a sun umbrella over the top of it too.

the living room was fairly big with two sofas near the back and then two chairs near the fire. we had a table in the middle to put snacks/drinks on and then the tv was in one corner of the room along with joe's playstation. we had some artwork up there and on the mantlepiece was our strictly tour trophies and some candles, along with birthday cards and a few photos.

joe's office was the roughly the same size as the one in the apartment with all the stuff he has there. since we're having a baby, it would have to bit a bit less messy but who am i to say that! since joe has a room for himself, i have a mini dance studio! there's a massive mirror that covers most of one wall, a ballet bar and a big speaker which joe is of course going to have to help me use. as i'm not allowed to dance at the moment, i'm going to use it for yoga.

in the guest room was a double bed with two bedside tables and a view over the garden. we put a wardrobe in there too for anyone who stays, specifically my parents since they wouldn't be just coming over for a month. there was an ensuite in that room too so they could have a bit of pricvacy. the main bathroom for everyone to use had the walls painted a light blue with a shower and bath in one. there was also a toilet downstairs.

our attic could be converted into a room if we had more people to stay over. it was super cosy with a sofa that turned into a bed, a bunch of mine and joe's old things and it was painted a light green colour. i imagine our little girl would want to have a sleepover when she's old enough. there's also a tv up there for guests if they want.

our future home was so perfect and i get to live there with the love of my life

a/n: this is a slightly weird one shot but i just thought i'd try something different. i've been really getting into writing reccently and i wanted to write something a bit more descriptive. votes and comments/thoughts are much appreciated! xx
