Ryan's POV

I never thought of Brendon as "sexy" or "pretty", I mean, he's a really attractive guy, but I'm not saying that in a weird way.

As we all left the classroom, Brendon jumped on my back. I almost fell over, but steadied myself and him. He bit my ear playfully. People were staring as I adjusted and began walking. Brendon has released and set his head on my shoulder. We made our way to our lockers.

I set him down and he opened his locker. He grabbed his backpack and put it on. I did so too.

We took each others hands- IN A NON SEXUAL WAY!!!- And ran out of the school.

"Are you sure you all aren't dating?" We heard Dallon bolting up behind us.

We turned and nodded.

Brendon squeezed my hand, bringing us close together. He wrapped his other arm around my head, resulting in our faces being half an inch apart.

"We're just really close. Really. Close." He stupidly licked his lips and winked as he released me from his grasp.

"Gross. Don't end up like Gerard and Frank. Please." Dallon insisted. Brendon snorted.

"We won't." I spoke, smiling. I held in a laugh.

"Good." Dallon sped up, eventually sprinting.

--

"Wanna stay over then?" I turned to Brendon.

He nodded. "I'll have to call home, but sure."

As we made it to my house, Brendon was outside calling his parents.

I started making some tea for the two of us. He made his way inside, I handed him a cup of tea.

"Thank you, papi." He winked, giggling stupidly as he took a sip of the tea. I rolled my eyes, grabbing his hand and leading to my room. To hang out. In a platonic manner. You pervert.

I sat down in my swivel chair at my desk, Brendon seating himself in the middle of the bed, like he always does when I invite him over.

I yawned, finishing my own tea. We both were pretty quiet people when we were alone. I guess we just really enjoy each others company, so much that we don't have to talk much to have an enjoyable time.

I grabbed phone, scrolling through insta. Every so often I would glance up, and half the time I would catch Brendon staring peacefully as he sipped his tea. Was he checking me out? He's done this before, but I've never really thought too much about it.

I've been doing that a lot recently. Overthinking, that is. I'm probably being dumb, and he's just watching me cause he's bored.

--

We talked for a little longer before he left, around 11:00pm.

So I decided to lay down and get some sleep for once in my lifetime.
