Produce 70 (: 프로듀스 70) is an ongoing 2019 girl group survival reality show on Mnet. This is the 1st season of the TV franchise. The public (called 'national producers') "produces" a girl group by choosing 9 members among the 70 trainees from 20 different entertainment companies and independent trainees through online voting and live voting with multiple elimination rounds. The public will also choose the group's concept, debut song and group name. Said group would debut under S&S Entertainments as a co-ed group and promote for 2 years. The show premiered on May 7, 2019
