I was standing in line ready to jump in the pool of grease. I couldn't wait to dip in that pool. My friend pulled me to the side and said he was going to escape! I wondered why would you want to escape. He then told me that i would die if I went in the grease. I was ready! He told me the plan. I would take one for the team, but it's worth it for my best friend. I ran out and the patties saw me! I was happy to see he jumped off the counter like plan. But what if he didn't make it! I could not die and not know if my friend lived or didn't. He escaped the patties! He ran along the counter and saw his chance! He ran and jumped off! He landed and chased after the brave potato. The brave potato was picked up by a small child. He waited for the brave potato to come back. After hours of waiting for him, he rolled out of the window. He was so happy to see his friend, that he didn't look where he stepped. He looked up only to see a shoe closing in on him. He was hit! Im not dead hee thought. Where am I? He looked around and saw nothing. He was not dead, but where was he? Found out in Chapter 2 of The Brave Potato from Fenchy's point of View
