Everyone had been in quite a cheerful mood lately. As said in their contracts that they had each signed, Tracy brought up that it was soon time to leave this horrid mansion. No one had brought their contracts, but would get them when they were to exit the house. So ever since the news had been reminded, happy faces crossed the halls no matter what.
"Can you believe it's only a couple weeks til we're out of here?!" Tracy said cheerfully and Martha smiled in reply. "Yes. It feels like it all went by so fast. I'm happy we were able to all keep each other safe." "We have to stay in touch." Vera said. "I would be awfully saddened if I don't see any of you again." Everyone agreed. When they leave, they would always stay close. However there was one young girl who seemed to be confused.
Emily Dyer. Also known as the Doctor or a Veteran to her friends. Though she was also happy hearing about the time of release being near, she couldn't help but be confused. It had only been a few years. Is it really already time? Her minds fogged with memories of getting the invitation.
~FlashBack~
Dear Emily Dyer,
I invite you to a one of a kind game to play. You will play a game of 'chase' I could say. It's more than that but if you're willing to accept I will gladly tell you all about it. This game will not be a simple hour or two, but I infect need 5 years of your life in order for you to win a grand prize.
$xxx,xxx,xxx
You will not be able to leave early, quit, or have contact with the outside. However if you refuse, I can simply ask someone else. Make the correct choice, Miss. Dyer.
~End Of FlashBack~
She hated to doubt herself but perhaps it was true. She had possibly lost track of time here in this cold house. So she insisted on smiling at everyone else, but hers faltering ever so often. And someone seemed to catch the fake smile.

Emily went to the garden. She took in the sights and breathed. Sitting down on the cold bench and looking up. Though the glass was blurry, you could make out a faint starry sky. Before she left, she'd want to have a few looks around the place. Memories of only Emma, Kreacher, Riley, and herself being here alone. They made quite the team back then. Not needing any fancy gadgets to win. But now, it seemed to be they were being forgotten, as all Veterans fade from memory. She truly missed the idea of hanging here with them. Despite the questionable things that happened she felt a pang in her heart to leave.
"Whats up with you?" Emily turned on her heel and her eyes seemed to widen. "Oh, it's only you." She said, turning back around. Naib halted his steps before walking over. "What's that supposed to mean?" He said standing next to her. "Just some of the other males here seem to do questionable things." She giggled then stopped, remembering Kreacher's actions towards Emma before. That was no laughing matter. "Sure." He said plopping next to the young girl. "What's your deal." He blatantly asked, not caring if it was personal or not.
She hesitated to tell him. What if she was right about it being the wrong time. Tracy is still young, so she could've been wrong. However she stood her ground. "It's about our leave next week." She said, trying to clearly see the stars through the blurred glass, but never succeeding. "Yeah, it's almost time already." Emily glanced at him through the corner of her eye. He was also looking up. They longed for the outside, and this only made them more eager. Did he really not have a second feeling? Did he never think Tracy may have made a mistake?Emily's eyes then moved from him. "Well, I guess. Just a bit unsure." She said, finally lowering her head to look at the plant life. "Why? We did our three years alre-"
However after that first part Emily cancelled the rest out, her eyes widening in disbelief and a bit of fear. "Three you say?" She cut him off. Naib looked at her confusingly. "Yeah, three-." He put of three of his fingers. "Don't know your numbers?" Emily looked at his hand before replying. "Very well actually. Is that what your invite said? Three?" She asked a bit impatient. He was surprised to see her so unprofessional. Usually she had everything together and everyone under control. What was today's issue? He simply nodded with wide eyes. Emily looked back, biting her lip, asking a quick, 'you sure?' Which Naib only gave another nod. "Why what's the matter?" He asked looking at her with slight concern. "My invite said five years..." She finally mumbled out, hand on her chest.
