6th of November, 2014

I rolled over to my side and tucked my hands beneath my head. I was so damn mentally exhausted, it was actually ridiculous. Aisling had put my mental state in an even worst position since the death of my parents. I still can't believe that she brought up my standard in society. I know I'm a middle class guy and my family has never lived on the high end like she has been for her whole life but the discriminating comment was totally uncalled for.

After they had their lunch, I was waiting outside by the car as I was told. Aisling didn't even get into the car. I saw James pull up and she quickly went and sat in the passenger seat of his car. She didn't come home yesterday either and even if I shouldn't be, I was so worried about her. I care way too much about her not to be worried.

James was not to be trusted. He gave off a really bad vibe. We all felt it, including Aisling, but she still decided to go with him. I mean, I didn't control her life or the choices she made but I'd prefer if she didn't go and risk getting hurt all over again.

There was a knock on the door and I struggled to get out of bed before it was swung open. I was standing in my boxer's and a white t-shirt, barely able to keep my eyes open. After all, it was 5:45AM.

I adjusted my eyes to see Zayn standing at the foot of my bed. "Sorry, sir. Didn't know I had to be up at this time."

"Niall, stop calling me 'sir'. Stop calling Irena 'ma'am'. We're your friends, no matter what Aisling says, okay? Get that through your head, please."

I nodded because, to be honest, I needed my friends at the moment. "What's up? Why are you awake so early, mate?"

"Well, apparently you're not answering your phone but Louis gave me a call saying that he has Aisling at your house. She's piss drunk and wanted to hang out with your sister so she walked you your house. He said that is all she said before she passed on the couch." He sighed and rubbed his beard. Zayn quirked an eyebrow at me and looked a bit confused. "Important question. Does Louis live at your house?"

I chuckled, "Yeah, he and Eleanor are staying there while I stay here. Greg has one job now so they either schedule him to a morning shift or an evening shift. It's just easier this way." I picked up a pair of sweat pants that were laying on the floor and found a sweatshirt from my closet. "I'm a bit confused as to why she went to my house? Didn't she pretty much diss my worth the other day? I don't understand."

"I'm just going to say it's a sign of remorse. I can assure you that Aisling would never say something so rude like that to anyone. She is a really sweet person and I blame James. He probably filled her head with all this venom."

"That's still not an excuse," I shrugged, "alright, so you want me to go myself?"

Zayn yawned loudly and shook his head, "No, I'll come with you, mate."

"I think you should stay here with Irena. You look pretty tired."

"And you look like you haven't slept in two days. I'll come with you."

"Zayn, just stay and get your beauty sleep. Irena will be sad waking up to an empty bed," I smiled, patting his back, "you've got a girlfriend to keep happy."

Defeated, he bowed his head and agreed. He walked out of my room and I hastily followed. I waved at him before walking down the stairs. I grabbed the keys to Aisling's car and stepped outside into the crisp morning. It was so cold, my fingertips were numb by the time I reached the car.

I started the engine and waited for the temperature of the car to go up before I put the heat on full blast. I drove down the hilled driveway and motioned to one of the twins, I didn't bother figuring out who it was this early, to open the large gate. I waved a 'thank you' and headed in the direction of my house.
