*Ammosia's POV*

I was walking in the forest with my good friend, she was trying to tell me about another one of her fan fictions that she wrote. Honestly, I'd listen, if I wasn't trying to figure out a 'math' problem in my head. She's not gonna stop for a while, I know this girl,

'It's probably a good time to put my headphones in,' She's my friend, but that doesn't make me interested in everything she does.

I don't think she noticed, but I was now jamming silently to my favorite songs.

"SHIT!!!"

I screamed as I tripped over a decently sized log. In my disassociation, I guess I had stopped watching my steps. After dusting myself off I looked at Lani and saw her talking to me still.

"-urt? You good man?"

I had just stopped my music and had no idea what she was trying to tell me. Deciding to ask her to say it again,

"Sorry, what you say?"

She looked at me with a slightly pouty face and redid her sentence after rolling her eyes jokingly,

"I asked, are you hurt?" She answered with that same awkward pout,

"Oh, Nah I'm good!"

Truthfully my knee hurt a bit, but it wasn't the worst.

"Anyways... Think we'll find anything in the forest," I asked, I then remembered that she dragged me out here, "and what are we doing anyways?"

"Well, I heard that there was something in the woods!"

I was seconds away from yeeting it out of here since it was getting dark out and I was tired.

"So you dragged me out here, in the middle of this forsaken forest. Because you heard some nice little fairytale about it," I was slightly sarcastic, but mostly joking, I didn't mind being here, "The hell was it even about, something evil, something nice?"

She just shrugged and we continued walking.

Lani, I will never understand your insolence.

I saw a group of mosquitos and silently thanked that we were smart enough to put on some bug spray, the mosquitos wouldn't get us today. While thinking about how the mosquitos were assholes, I heard a slight creak in the forest. It sounded like a metal door opening, though I didn't think much of it. Being quite curious, I decided to go explore the sound on my right.

"Yo, where are you going?" As I was walking exploring the bushes, I heard Lani ask where I was going.

"Don't know, I heard a strange sound, kind of like a metal door. I'm checking it out," Before she could answer, I entered the bushes and heard the sound again.

I was continuing toward the sound, it came from my left. When I emerged from the underbrush I saw something that I didn't expect to find in my entire life. It was a beautiful wooden door emerging from the trunk of a tree, embellished on its face was a rose gold tree. It was something from a Fairytale

Lani was gonna freak, she wouldn't believe what this was.

"Lani, yo Lani," I think I had gotten her attention, "Yo Lani you might want to see this!" I had no idea if she could even hear me, or how far I'd gone into the bushes. Thankfully, I don't think I had gone too far since I heard her response,
