AN: This is the first story I have written for fun, so I am an amatuer. Constructive criticism is appreciated, but please don't hate on my story! And thank you for reading!

'Today is the day!' Ayane thought to herself, saying out loud to her Maid of Honor and her four bridesmaids, " I'm so nervous, but energy and excitement is just rushing through me."

"Oh, Ayane, you look absolutely beautiful, just lovely!" Ayane's father, Charles, says as he enters the room,"And you ladies," he gestures towards the bridesmaids and the maid of honor,"look lovely, too." He smiled at Ayane.

"Thank you, Dad. I'm so glad that you could come to my wedding! It wouldn't be the same if you weren't here." Ayane told him.

"I am sorry, dearest, but I must go and see who has arrived and mingle with the guests now. It was nice to see you before any one else did though." he says with a chuckle," Good bye, girls!"

"We'll see you at the ceremony, Mr. Brown!" Simone, your Maid of Honor, replied with a wide grin.

Ayane sits with her friends, Simone, Grace, Zoe, Miranda, and Katelyn. "Oh, I'm so so SO happy for you, Ayane! I just know that you and Jared will be absolutely perfect together!" Zoe chirped.

"Yeah, you two have a 75 percent chance of an optimal relationship, which is amazing, considering all of the horrible relationships that go on in today's society..." Grace informs Ayane.

"I hope that you and Jared will be happy with eachother, Ayane. Thank you for letting me be a bridesmaid in your wedding. It is going to truly be an honor standing with you." Katelyn says in a hushed voice.

"I'm just glad that you found someone who wasn't a slob, ugly, because really you aren't darling. Not to mention he isnt rude, boring... well, let's just say that Jared is pretty close to well, perfect!" Miranda states bluntly.

"Perfect, huh? Well I never thought of him as perfect, but I guess you're right, Miranda! He's always so kind and helpful to everyone." Ayane replies to their responses.

Then, they all hear a knock at the door, and a head of unruly, curly brown hair sticks it's head in. It's James, Jared's best man. "Have any of you seen Jared? He's supposed to be out here, greeting the guests, or at least doing something..." He stops chattering to let Ayane and her friends reply. They all wind up talking at once," Is Jared okay- Don't worry, I'm on the case-I hope nothing bad has happened-He's just lazy, Jared will show up-I'll gather data from people to see if they know where he is-Let's just hope for the best"

"So, none of you have seen him?" James asks, impatient.

"I'm afraid that we haven't, James. We'll keep an eye out for Jared, though!" Ayane calls out to James as he left the room before she got past the word 'haven't'.

~Veeee! Le time skip!~

5 hours later, Jared is still nowhere to be found, and Ayane's family and friends surround her, trying to console her. 'How could he do this to me! How could he be so cold hearted? I hope that he's okay, though... After all, he is still is my fiancee. Or is he? I'm not sure if there are any rules on that or not...' All of these thoughts run through Ayane's head as she sits at the altar, feeling more alone than ever even though she was surrounded by dozens of people. "Mom, can I go home? I don't think he's coming and I need some time to think at a place familiar." Ayane had been staying at a hotel, and she wanted to feel comfortable while she slept, or thought about different topics... most of them having to do with Jared.

"Of course, honey. Your father and I are always open to you for whatever you need." Christie, Ayane's mom, replies, a caring smile on her face and kindness in her emerald eyes.

"Thanks. I guess I should tell everyone else to go home now." Ayane stands up then and says, in a clear voice,"Thank you all for coming, and I am sorry for the inconvenience that has occurred today, but you should all go home now. Good night, everyone!" After those words, everyone who hadn't left before then dispersed.

Ayane's mom and dad drove her to their home, where Ayane's last thought before falling asleep was,' I wonder what tomorrow will bring.' Then she fell into a troubled sleep, full of strange dreams and nightmares.

So, that's the first chapter! I wrote this kind of late at night, so pardon any errors! And if you liked reading this and would enjoy getting updates, please add this to your library. Thank you for reading! And I apologize for it being kind of short. I'm not a very experienced writer... '^¬^´
