The next day at school, Sarah walked up to me and in an alarming way she said ,"I know you don't wanna work with me, and let me tell you, I don't won't to work with you either. But we have to work this out somehow, I don't wanna get a bad grade because of you and you're lazy ass."

I froze, no one ever said that to someone popular, no one, everyone in the halls went silent. Then Julia Barnes, also known as the bitch, walked up to Sarah and yelled,"You don't say that to a popular, you bitch better not do that again or I will ruin your fucking life."

I couldn't believe she actually defended me, yet, I'm pretty sure she was defending anyone popular in general. She didn't like when things got out of order.

Either way, after that, Sarah ran to the bathroom with tears running down her face. I didn't do anything, I was like a ghost the whole time, silent and invisible.

When I went to second period I noticed Sarah wasn't there, she probably left home after the incident that morning. I mean being humiliated by Julia Barnes is the worst possible thing ever, that's one reason why I've never talked to her. She can use anything you ever said against you.

After school I went home to find a note on the fridge. It was from my mom and it read: Please get groceries. The grocery list is on the counter along with $50 which is only for what's on the list. I'll be back at 4. Love you honey. By the way, Dad is coming back from his work trip tomorrow night! Kisses!

I grabbed the money and drove to the grocery store. When I walked inside I noticed the bitch walking to the magazine isle. I hid as quick as possible near the candy isle, a calorie infested place Julia would never enter. Right then I turned around to see, Sarah.

There was an awkward moment when we just looked at each other wide eyed. Then she somehow surprisingly started to talk to me,"Hey, I'm really sorry for what I said to you this morning. It's just I was really stressed with the new school and all. Umm... so yeah."

I honestly wasn't upset at her, not a bit. So all I said was,"It's fine, but about the project, here's my number." I handed her a post it note with my number as she looked at me with surprise. Then she joked,"Do you have a stash of papers with your number hiding in your pocket."

"Sort of, but it's a long story, either way, please call me and we'll meet up sometime. Uh... sorry for the incident with Julia and all, she's a bitch."

She looked at me with a smile, it was at that moment I realized she was pretty. Weird, huh? You don't notice beauty till you look past a persons social status.

She had deep ocean blue eyes that could hypnotize you with just a glance. She had long wavy brown hair that shined so perfectly. Everything seemed perfect about her. Everything.
