Chapter Five.

I am drowning, they are holding me down, they are killing me,

The ice pick burrows in: stop them if you love me, stop them.

My love is like a red, red rose, I love you, of course i do. Let me prove it to you,

Im my antique Marlwood bed, i jerked awake and covered my mouth with both hands trying not to scream. Julie sighed and rolled over on her side. I let out a deep breath and layed back down.

After ten minutes of trying to go back to bed, I got up, threw on my black skinny jeans, my Georgia hoodie and boots. Tieing my hair in a ponytail i decided i was gonna go walking around campus for a little while.

I ended up walking in a circle for about twenty minutes, thinking about everything and anything. I sat on one of the near by benches to rest my feet,

"Don't you think its a little dangerous to be out walking this late, let alone by yourself"

I nearly jumped out of my skin when i turned around to see Hunter Hays leaning against a tree with a black jacket on,

"Speak for your self," i said trying to get my barriers back.

He just chuckled and sat beside me, "Your names lindsey, right?"

I nodded my head and wrapped my arms around myself, god it just got REALLY cold.

I finally broke the silence, "So why are you out this late?"

He smiled, God his smile is perfect, "I always take walks around at night, its....peaceful. Now i can ask you the same question Miss. Davis"

My heart fluttered at his voice, "Had a bad dream and couldn't go back to sleep"

I sighed, i still had no idea what that dream meant. The wind blew softly which only made me more cold, Hunter gave me sympathy look,

"Here," he said wrapping his jacket around me, He smelled so good. I wondered about him but he looked unaffected.

When the awkward silence came back, i looked around and realized i can see the Grose from here. There was one light on and a figure, looked like person, was staring straight at me. Whatever/Whoever it was sent chills down my spine.

"Um maybe i should go, its getting late" i said giving his jacket back.

"Yeah, um, you're right" he said standing up. Our bodies were so close.

Wind blew harder this time, Hunter tensed up and moved away further away from me. Weird, i thought.

I gave him a small smile "See later i guess,"

He nodded and continued to stare at the ground with his hands in his pockets, i turned toward the Grose and began walking.

Hunter hays, you're the strangest guy i have ever met, and with that i slept peacefully the rest of the night.
