Marry You

Chapter 1

This was the hardest time for a 23 years old girl named Park Sooyoung. Well, she had everything that a girl want in the world. She was a spoiled rich brat, the only daughter in house, not to mention beautiful face and killer body. But that was her past, now she lost everything. His father had a huge debt and couldn't pay it. Their company went bankrupt, bank confiscated all their assets including their house. In short, they were penniless. This was the truth that she couldn't accept. Lucky that she wasn't crazy and did something stupid like suicide.

She was packing her things in her house. Only clothes and her personal things which she could bring. She looked at their family picture. There was her, her father and her late mother. Yes, her mother already passed away when she was kid. She couldn't really remember how it felt being in mother care. She only remember her father ever since. How he threat her like a princess. How he struggled to make her life comfortable even though her mother wasn't there. She thought that she would live like that forever but this disaster happen. Everything was getting worst when his father entered her room and announce something shocking.

"You'll getting married." He said.

"What?" She couldn't register this shocking information. Who was getting married? Her? With who?

"I said you'll getting married."

"But that's insane? How come? With who? And why?" Sooyoung protested.

"With a son of my relative."

Sooyoung gaped in awe. She stood up in anger. "Don't say you sell me to pay our company debt!"

His father just silent.

"Appa! How dare you!" she stormed to her dad and punch his chest. She started to cry. She just couldn't bare this situation.

"My daughter, please listen to me." He tried to hold her hand.

"How could you be this cruel??"

"Sooyoung-ah." He held her body to make her listen to him, "You know that I don't have anything now. I couldn't provide you a comfortable life. This is the best way I only get. My friend will pay all the debt and he let me to work in his company. I didn't mention about you at first, really. But he said that he want you too to marry his only son. I don't want to force you on arrange marriage but when I think about it again, I can't give you a proper life for now. If you marry with my friend's son, I'm sure that you can get a good quality of life. You can live well."

"But, Appa.. I don't know him."

"You know him. He is one of our relatives."

"That's not the point! I just can't marry with someone I barely know!"

"In a normal day, maybe yes. But our situation is different, Sooyoung-ah!"

She slumped herself on the floor. Feeling dizzy with this fast changing situation. Their family poor in a snap and now she was getting married? That was totally insane.

"Sooyoung-ah, please understand me. I don't want you to live miserably. I just want to keep you with the same situation like before."

Her father mean that he wanted to keep her in prosperous life. Since Sooyoung was born, she already lived as a rich family in high class society. She couldn't bare live poorly. He knew she couldn't. So, he thought marrying her with a chaebol was the best idea.

In the deepest heart, Sooyoung also knew that she couldn't live without wealth. She was used to it since she was born. Her heart was contemplating it, but getting married and tied to only one person she didn't know was also a scary idea.
