*RIP*

I freeze. Did I really just rip my dress? The one dress that's supposed to be perfect? I couldn't have. I turn around, noticing the huge rip near the back area.

"Shit," I whisper.

Levi just had to come in my room and see me in my underwear! I can't believe this! The one day! The one fucking day everything has to be perfect! Perfect for Kate. Oh no. Kate. She's going to be so mad at me. That dress must have cost a fortune, and I just ripped it.

"Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit," I whisper again.

Now, I'm pacing back and forth wondering what to do. My hair, even though it reaches mid back, the tear is to big to cover it. What am I going to do?! I look at the clock on my phone, which is laying on my nightstand from last night. 12:46 pm. 14 minutes till Kate's wedding starts.

I try to ignore the wind that's coming into my dress as I slip it on. I grab my black and white converse from my closet and slip those on as well. Thank God my makeup or hair didn't mess up... too bad.

I take my phone and hurry out my bedroom door to the living room. I grab my keys, and from there, I open the front door and exit. I go to my Mini (author's note: i know that she shouldn't have her mini, but just go with it k) and open the driver's side door. I put the keys in ignition and hurry to the barn that's only 10 minutes away.

I park my car and hurry to the barn behind a large building. I practically run all the way around the building. (AUTHOR'S NOTE: HEY ITS BLAKE. HOW ARE U GUYS? YOUVE GOT ME SNORTIN COCAINE IM AT IT AGAIN CAUGHT UP IN THE MOMENT BUT NOT IN THE RIGHT WAY

$WAG MONEY) I hurry through the barn gates and to the front of the benches, where a preacher, Connor, and my mom were getting ready.

"Tara! You're here!" Mom squeals, "Just stand right where you are and smile!"

"Oh! And here!" Mom tosses me a beautiful bouquet with daisies, lilacs.

"Thank you," I say.

"3 minutes everyone! Get into your places!" my mother yells.

I straighten my back, still feeling the breeze on my back. I put a 1/2 real 1/2 fake smile on my face. It should be enough to convince people Kate and I hadn't been fighting. The next thing I know, I hear "Wedding March" and Kate comes walking down the isle.

She's dressed in a long, off white, lace mermaid gown with a bouquet similar to mine and the other bridesmaids. Her hair is straight with intrecate braids on the sides of her head, her veil flowing behind her. She walks slowly, but gracefully. She pauses for a breaf second after eacch step. Like a perfect bride.

Kate notices me when she's about 5 steps away from Connor. No body told me if they've replaced the ring or if they don't have one yet, but Kate seemed quite happy when she saw me. She flashed a wink towards me and I smile a little more brightly. Hopefully Kate is happy and not mad at me. I would never want her to be mad on her special day.

After the ceremony, everyone starts getting into their cars to make their way to the reception. The reception is going to be held at our house in the back yard. There, we'll have lunch, dance a little, and share speechs about the bride and groom.

Now, I'm helping Mom with the decorations and picking up flower pedals still on the ground that represented the isle during the ceremony.

"Tara?" mom asks.

"Yeah?" I reply.

"Do you mind finishing up? I have to go help Kate with her reception dress and the greet people?" she asks.

"No, I don't mind," I say.

"Okay. Try to be back in about 30 minutes," Mom says scurrying off to her car.

"Okay," I reply.

I finish with the decorations from the benchs and now I'm picking up the flower pedals. I have the flower girl basket in my hand and I'm putting the pedals back into the basket. For about 10 minutes I do this. When I finish, I bring the flower basket and some of the decorations with me as I make my way to my Mini.

As I go around the building, I hear "If You Were Here" playing loudly from a pickup truck.

I know this song. It's the song in 16 Candles were Jake meets Sam infront of the church.

There, in front of the pickup truck, Levi is casually leaned up against it.

That bastard. He's trying to win me back with my favorite love scene ever, recreated infront of my eyes. Instead of s smile, I make a scowl. I squint my eyes, trying to show Levi that I want no part in his little "scheme". I march my way to Mini and put all the decorations and the basket in my trunk. When I turn around Levi is standing behind me.

Creepy much?

"Tara? Why are you so mad at me?" he asks.

I ignore him, trying to walk back to the barn to grab the rest of the decorartions.

"You can't ignore me forever!" he yells.

I keep walking.

"Stop walking away and fucking face me!" he screams again.

This time he grabs me around the waist and turns me around. We're now a few inches apart.

"Why are you so damn mad at me?" His voice barely above a whisper.

"You broke my heart and had the courage to lie to my face. Then, you move without even saying sorry or telling me!" I say.

I didn't even notice the single tear rolling down my cheek.

"Tara. I'm so so so sorry. I never meant to hurt you. I swear. I was just a stupid jerk who didn't realize the beautiful gift of a girl I had," he brings me into his arms, and I don't reject it.

I cry even harder now.

For seconds, or maybe minutes, we stay like that. Me wrapped in Levi's arms and him shhing me like a mother trying to calm her child.

"I forgive you," I say weakly.

"What?" he asks.

"I forgive you," I say a little louder.

Through the heat of the moment, he leans down and kisses me.

And the weirdest thing happened.

I didn't reject him. I kissed back.

REAL AUTHOR'S NOTE:

Sorry about the author's note in the middle of the story, I had a sleepover with a couple friends and I let one of my friends write an author's note. And I kept it, because she wrote a pretty good one. $WAG
