Francis knew he had to eat something in order to survive. He took several bites of a pleasant-smelling

apple, and became violently ill. He soon developed a high fever, and couldn't stop throwing up. It was a

miracle that he even survived!

A couple days later, Francis realized that he could ingest a small amount of food, over the span of

several hours, without getting sick.

Francis entered the remains of a drug store, in hopes of finding a chocolate bar, and some honey to dip it

into. He had a wicked sweet tooth. After gathering these items, he climbed into the back of the

abandoned pharmacy, to take a rest. There was a sign posted on the wall, which stated, "Consumption

of food in this area, may cause madness, insomnia, or amnesia."

He bit into his chocolate bar, and noticed himself starting to levitate. The effect seemed to wear

off after a few minutes.

Francis noticed that the honey tasted like the summer raindrops he used to catch on his tongue.

He soon noticed that his mouth had become parched. He took a bag of grapes from the remains

of a grocery store, and popped a couple into his mouth. There was a refreshing milk-like fluid inside

them.

Francis became startled as he peeled a banana, and it made a thunder-like noise.

He became leery as he passed an orchard full of bouncing fruit. He caught a peach, shrugged his

shoulders, and bit into it. It tasted like rice cakes.

Francis relaxed under a 15 foot mushroom, to take a break from the heat, and enjoyed a piece of

glittery fruit.
