The Chosen Two

1- The Beginning

A/N- I am a seriously slow writer (I have all the ideas In my head I just can't get them on to the page) so this story is going to take ages to write - sorry but that's the way it is! The story will follow events the same way as the HP books, just seeing different sides to certain characters Also this will be written mostly as a overview (like the HP books) with Kirsty POV being her thoughts?!
Idk I just make it up as I go along. Any discrepancies or questions you have just ask - I'll make up an answer to fit lol

Background on characters
Camilla (cam) Potter- older twin of James and Lily Potter, sister to Harry. Not left with the Dursley family due to them being unable to take in more than one new baby - Petunia often regrets this decision as the potter girl is the spitting image of her mother apart from having deep dark hair like her father and a scar on back of her neck. The first year after her parents death she spent at the Weasley's who along with the Tonks family and half a dozen other families were all too willing to accommodate; yet the Weasley family came out on thanks to having a much experience with many children in the house. Bill and Charlie Weasley remember the excitement of having a another sibling in the house; Percy faintly remembers having 7 siblings but figured he must of miscalculated due to his young age; the rest were all too young to notice.
After this Cam spent the majority of her time at Hogwarts growing up and learning off each of the professors but with professor Snape being her favourite. Snape took took a liking to her the moment the intuitive toddler turned up in the staff room one day, because of his history with lily he felt the strong need to protect the girl, the once piece of the that remained promising not to fail her like he did lily. (He still resents Harry for being the embodiment of James but feels the need protects him in the same way)Snape is well known among the students for his fierce personality yet was once found taking part in a tea party set up by Camilla when she was around 4, Stone faced taking imaginary food and refilling Mr Ted's glass periodically, with his pinky sticking out when sipping make believe tea, on Cam's request. A group 6th year Slytherin's walked in on this and to this day Snape still has a rather strong silencing charm  and a heavy threat on them to limit the news being spread yet all the professors and somehow Fred and George Weasley know about  it.

Features:
Camillia potter the spitting image of lily potter, with bright green eyes and slim smile of the same height as her brother yet goes in her tiptoes to be taller than him whenever someone mentions it. She has long dark brown hair from her father yet it is sleek like her mothers. She has a scar on the back of her neck towards the left hand side left from Voldemort - she keeps her hair long for this reason as many people believe that Harry was the only one that was hit by the killing curse. (The curse of course backfired repelling itself in the Voldemort hitting both children giving them both scars and fate- Voldemort intended to kill both anyways even if the prophecy only mentioned a boy as he wanted a full set, the next night he intended to do the same to the Longbottoms to eradicate any chance of being defeated, he failed in both accounts)
She keeps her hair long until the 6th year shortly after the night at the ministry, Certain people still believe that only Harry is the chosen one but with the curse hitting both children Voldemort inevitably created a chosen two. She cuts it to jaw length and feel more like themselves than they ever did before learning to be comfortable with her self identify, looks and family situation.
She is incredibly smart but not as so as Hermione but she makes up for it in knowledge of the wizarding world.
A kind and friendly personality- willing to talk to anyone, looks for the goodness in people yet often struggles to find it.
A natural born Legilimens, was taught Occlumency by Snape as she was growing up. Her Legilimency started off with being able to predict which house someone would end up in before the sorting hat would announce it, she'd also often know what people would say before they said it. For many years it didn't progress past this as Occlumency and advice from Dumbledore taught her to suppress it. She would often close her mind and to cut everything out when a place would be particularly noisy or when she felt overwhelmed or anxious. She re-explored her natural born skill with professor Snape in the fifth year and learnt to hear other people's thoughts with out using magic by making direct eye contact with people and cutting everything else out. She explored this further in the fifth and sixth year eventually learning to have a back and fourth dialogue with Snape in the forefront of her mind; she later learned she could do this without have to have direct eye contact but only if she maintained the same focus as when she would close her mind (which she learnt to do very well, when Snape was trying to pursue information about Harry or for incase of death eaters trying to do the same thing) she would be able to communicate with others who didn't know by using Legilimency nonverbally - telling them to just think of the reply and she would hear it as they hear her. When Harry was taught Occlumency by Snape Dumbledore attacked her mind in the same way helping her to be able to close her mind to the strongest of Legilimens. -she never used her skill to forcefully enter someone's mind like Snape, the death eaters and Dumbledore would do.
