Undertale: A New Beginning | Book 1

Introduction/Prologue: A normal day... right?

So uh... this is my first time writing a story! Sorry if this is bad, if I'm not doing some things correctly or if it is boring. Believe me, I try. And I know that a lot of stories have (Y/N) and then a gender to said (Y/N), so sorry if that's not in here. The art on the cover is not mine, I'll try to do my own, but my drawing sucks. Your a man named Cris Miles, at age 20, and you work as a writer. You live in a decent sized house, but you are usually alone.

One day, while working in your office and writing a book for your new series, you decide to go downstairs and have some breakfast. You check the clock and it says 8:00AM.

While walking downstairs, you look at the window above your couch and see some people...

That look like skeletons?

You brush it off, because its getting close to Halloween and just assume that they are just some kids that are scoping out houses to trick-or-treat.

You walk in the kitchen, and sigh. There's a couple of bags on the table that you forgot to put away after you went shopping yesterday.

Youre about to pour yourself some cereal when you hear a knock on the front door.

You walk over to the front door to reveal...

Those two kids from earlier.

The shorter kid/skeleton(?), wearing a blue jacket  says in a deep voice "can we come inside your house?"

Taken aback of the persons request to go in your house, you close the door-

"WAIT! PLEASE HELP US!" says a loud voice.

You look at both of the skeletons and look at the taller one, appearing to be some kind of skeleton soldier. Hes taller than the other one, and looks more...

Energetic.

You start to open the door again, and they step inside.

In your mind, your thinking Why are these kids just coming into my house?!

Well, its too late to protest or tell them to come out, so you just let them go in your house.

You notice that they didn't stop to take their shoes off, but you just brush it off.

You let them sit down at one of your couches and you sit at a nice, comfy chair beside the couch.

"So uh... what are you guys doing here?" you ask, completely confused and totally oblivious to what is going to be happening in the next few minutes.

"well um..." the shorter one says.

"WE ARE KINDA LOST, AND WE WOULD LIKE SOME HELP." the taller one explains.

You already picked up on that, but still listen to them.

"and we need to get back home. so, in order to do that, we asked you." 

You started to pick up on both of them. One of them was calm, cool, and relaxed...

While the other was excited, loud, and had lots of energy.

You also noticed that the shorter one talked first, and that the taller one always seemed to be shouting.

"YOU SEE, WE ARE-"

He is interrupted by a loud booming noise coming from the middle of the room. As soon as you blink, you see it:

A portal.

You just sit there, surprised, scared, and excited all at once.

Suddenly, two MORE skeletons pop out of the portal, one that looks like a child and the other one like a fashion model.

The model-ish like stands up in front of you and sticks out her hand.

"Please call me Lust~" 

You stand up to shake her hand.

"C-Cr-"

That's when you notice something...

The bones... how they looked so real.

How the other two skeletons didnt wear shoes...

And how the hand felt...

They were actual skeletons.

You stare at some of the sockets on the one in front of you, and the white eyes.

THEY WERE REAL

You start to feel yourself becoming queasy, and you fall towards the floor.

The last thing you hear is a little kids voice saying

"THERES A HUMAN HERE?!"

...and you black out.

Hey guys! If you made it to the end of my Intro/Prologue, here are some things to point out:

-Lust was the same name xNightingalegirlx used for UnderLust Sans, but I'll change that skeleton

-I probably wont have a deadline unless this becomes really popular (i highly doubt it)

-Again, sorry if it was really bad. I try my hardest

-This took me two to three days to work on, and this entire thing is only 825 words (including these words)

-Final thing: in case you didn't notice, the kid skeleton is actually Blueberry, from the UnderSwap universe
