Chapter 10

Elaine's P.O.V

*The next afternoon after Elaine's filmmaking class*

I exited the building, and instantly started craving Starbucks. I remembered Isabella was still at work, so I called Valerie. I fished for the phone in my cluttered purse, and called. After a couple of rings, she finally answered.

"Hey Valerie watcha doing?" I asked.

"Hey!!  I was just shopping around for stuff for my room. How was class?" she wondered.

"It was okay! Who knew learning about editing was so much fun!! Anyways, I was wondering if you wanted to get a starbucks with me?"

"Hell yeah!! Any day, any time! I'll meet you there in like five minutes"

"Okay hun!" I hung up, and started driving. The weather was slightly cloudy today... hmm.. in Los Angles.. thats incredibly weird. I grabbed a sweater conveniently placed in the back seat, and put it on. The moment I arrived, I met Valerie in the parking lot with her motorcycle. Of course she would bring it. We gave eachother a hug, and walked inside.

We ordered, and waited on the side of the pick up counter. After about five minutes of checking for messages on my phone, the woman called our names.

"Elaine and Valerie" she called. I grabbed the coffees, and headed to a condiment table. Somehow these sweet drinks never had enough sugar for me. I felt someone tap my shoulder, and I turned on my heel to find.. Josh?

"Hey beautiful" he stated while kissing my cheek. I blushed..

"Hey Josh! How did you know it was me" I wondered

"I heard the woman call out your name"

"Right..."

"Hey Josh" Valerie said.

"Hello Valerie" he replied while giving her a hug.

"Well" he started "do you want to grab a table?"

"Sure" I agreed. I started to walk when he grabbed my shoulder.

"Somewhere in the back if you don't mind" his warm breath tickling my ear. Oh god!!! I walked over to a booth in the back of the coffee shop, and sat down with Valerie.  Josh walked over with a guy following him.  He was wearing jeans, a hoodie and black ray bans.

"This is my close friend Niall" he introduced us.

"Hello Niall! I'm Elaine" I began while shaking his hand.

"Hey I'm Valerie" she said

"Lovely meeting you two ladies" he spoke with an irish accent. Oh god he has an accent too?! Jesus you are KILLING ME HERE

"So Elaine! You're the girl Josh hasn't stopped talking about for the past two weeks" he grinned. I swear!! By the look on Josh's face, he was about to falcon punch Niall. I couldn't help but laugh, and Valerie giggled.

The moment they both sat down, Niall was nervously looking around the shop. Almost as if he was being followed. I didn't bother questioning him anyways.

"So where do you know Josh from" I asked Niall. 

"Sorry.. But do you mind speaking a bit quieter" he asked in a sincire voice.

"Oh yeah.. Sorry" I whispered back.

"So uh..Josh didn't tell you?" he asked

"Um.. No.." I said while looking at Josh, who was staring at Niall.

"He's part of the band" Josh sputtered out quickly. 

"Oh okay! Well.. its finally nice to meet one of you guys"

"You'll meet the rest quite soon" Josh assured as we both exchanged smiles. If it wasn't by pure luck, I probably wouldn't have even met Niall.

"Damn.. I'm so hungry" Niall said while his stomach was grumbling.

"You just ate Mcdonalds mate.. How could you possibly be hungry?" Josh asked.

"Oh please.. You know me already! I'm hungry and craving a pint every thirty minutes" he replied. I couldn't help but laugh.

"You're funny Niall"

"Gracias!!"

"Ooh!! And bilingual" Valerie said sarcastically. Her comment had us all in a laugh. Just then, a teenage girl with blonde hair, and an "I love Niall" shirt came up and tapped Niall on the shoulder.

"Hi Niall!! Could I please get a picture?" she pleaded almost on the verge of begging.

"Sure love" he politely replied. They took the picture and she hugged him tightly.

"Is this your girlfriend Niall?" she asked curiously while staring straight at Valerie. "She's really pretty!!". Valerie instantly smiled.

"No she's just a friend! I promise!" he explained.

"Oh Okay then! Nice meeting you then! Oh and bye Josh!" she said while walking away instantly looking at the picture she just took. I exchanged confused looks with Valerie.

"Uh.." I said while giggling. I just assumed it was because of the band, so I didn't put much thought into it.

"Sorry girls.. This kinda happens alot..." Niall explained

"Oh don't mind us" Valerie replied

"Hey it's Louis. He said to meet him and the boys at the hotel" Niall said while reading a text message.

"It's one of the other boys. You don't mind if we leave do you?" Josh asked me.

"No absolutely not! Go do what you have to do" I said while smiling.

"We have to go too so, we'll catch you two later" Valerie stated while sliding out of the booth.

"Oh okay then. I hope to see you two again!!" Niall said while giving Valerie and I a big hug.

Josh gave me a hug, and closed the space between our lips. The kiss was quick, but absolutely cute!! I blushed..

"Bye love! See you soon" he said while extiting the coffee shop.

The next night at 8:00 pm

Elaine's P.O.V

"GUYS COME QUICK" I heard Isabella shout from the living room. I ran quickly with Valerie following me. We reached the couch, and I turned to Isabella.

"Whats wrong?" I concernly asked

"Uh.. Valerie theres a celeb report of you on in like three minutes" she said with her eyebrows high. I sat down and Valerie did the same. We waited for the commercial to end before "E News" returned.

"Yesterday a picture of "One Direction's" Niall Horan hugging a mysterious girl in Starbucks was captured. Niall apparently said they were just friends but what do you think? Could the hot Irish band member be taken by a special lady?" The perky twenty something year old questioned rhetorically . All three of our mouths dropped.

"One... One Direction.. Josh is from One Direction?" I asked

"Aparrently.." Isabella stated

"The famous BRITISH boyband... OF COURSE.. HE FREAKING BRITISH" I shouted in anger and confusion.

"Don't forget Irish" Valerie mentioned with sarcasm.

"Oh.. We've only played a few shows my ASS!!" I quickly dialed Josh's number before running onto the front porch.

One more thing I forgot to mention, I'm currently moving into a new appartment.. which means I won't have much time to be writing and updating.. I know I know.. It sucks, but I will try to update as MUCH as possible!! ok thanks for understanding :)
