It was a hot afternoon when the corridors of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry were all occupied by students walking by. Some were heading to the Great Hall, some to the library, the others to their common rooms, and some were on their way to god-knows-where.
The Gryffindor trio, Hermione, Ron, and Harry were one of the many students travelling down the busy corridor of the school. They were heading to the library because their potions class just finished and Hermione was very much eager to research about their homework immediately.
"We have to hurry, I want to get a good seat in there." Hermione said hurriedly.
Harry and Ron just followed her from behind until Hermione stopped in her tracks.
Draco Malfoy, the stubborn Slytherin, was standing in front of her blocking her way.
Hermione moved to the left, Draco did, too; to the right, and he also followed her; to the left again, still he had his whole body blocking her. Hermione looked at his face and saw a huge playful smirk plastered on his face.
"Draco Malfoy, what are you doing?" Hermione chuckled, moved once more to the right, but still had no success of escaping the person in front of her.
Harry and Ron stayed behind the walls and just stared at them, same as with Crabbe and Goyle who was also waiting for Draco. Other students were also watching the two as they caused quite a traffic in the middle of corridor. Some were mad, the others just didn't cared.
"We're going to the library." Hermione said finally able to walk past Draco, who was also having a laugh, while lightly pushing him past on the shoulder.
Hermione rolled her eyes at him, but with a warm smile on her face. Before fully distancing herself from him, Hermione caught his hand in hers and held him tight for a moment before walking away from him.
Hermione and her best friends already had their backs on the Slytherins, resuming their disrupted walk to the library, when she heard her name being called out by Draco's sweet voice.
"Hermione!" He shouted, which made her head turn back to where he was.
Not minding the other students around them, Draco lifted his hand to his mouth, kissed the palm of his pale hands, and blew a flying kiss straight to Hermione. She lifted her hands up in the air, caught the imaginary kiss from her boyfriend, and placed her hands gently onto her chest, to her heart.
She smiled widely, face colored scarlet as well as her ears, and copied what Draco did, giving him a flying kiss, too.
Draco caught the imaginary kiss with his left hand, and placed his palm onto his lips. His cheeks was visibly reddened, too. Crabbe shrugged his shoulders while Goyle cringed, pretended not to see everything that happened.
Murmurings and whispers were everywhere. Some admired how lovely the couple was, but others gave a smirk or sneer at the sight. Not a single of it bothered Hermione and Draco, though.
They all started to walk and leave the place, smiles on their faces.
Ron still had the weird look on his face because it was his first time seeing Malfoy in such attitude, shook his head and blinked his eyes a few times to know he wasn't dreaming. Harry did the same, took of his glasses, and put them again. They now know for sure they weren't dreaming.
Finally, Ron spoke the question he's always had in his mind, "Hermione, what happened with Malfoy? What kind of sorcery did you use to him?"
Shaking her head, Hermione rolled her eyes and huffed, "Ron, that is what you call love."
She formed the same wide smile on her face as they all remained walking, and Hermione just couldn't erase the memory of Draco and his flawless being in her mind.
