"BLAKE! GO GET YOUR SISTER FROM THE BUS STOP!" My mom called for me. I suddenly remembered, I was supposed to get her at 4:30! It's 5:00!
I scrambled to get my bag, and rushed out the door. I was running at full speed, as fast and I could. I could almost see the bus stop, and my Lia (my sister) sitting patiently at the bus stop.
I closed my eyes, because they were feeling dry. As soon as I did so, I felt my body collide with another. I though it might've been Lia, but when I realized it wasn't I didn't want to open my eyes.
I felt my body being held up. When I open my eyes, I see a boy, smiling brightly at me. He had dirty blonde hair, bright green eyes with hazel in the middle. I stood up on my own, hearing shuffling from the other side.
"Wow. Now that was worth waiting for."
Lia watched to whole thing go down, standing there saying nothing. Asshole. "Thanks.." I mumble to the boy, grabbing Lia by her ear.
"That looked weird-."She started. I cut her off, "like your face? Yeah. Let's keep this between us." I spat.
When we walk in our front door, the smell of spaghetti fills the room. "Dinners almost ready!" My mom calls from the kitchen.
I strut up the stairs to my room, and lay on my bed. I don't have my bag. I fall off my bed making a thud, running down the stairs tripping on myself. I open the front door, seeing the boy, with his fist up about to knock, holding my bag. "Y-you dropped this.." He slowly hands it to me, waving after. "Thanks again." I mumble to myself.
"Man. You need to stop screwing up." My sister yells, followed by mom yelling at her to not say 'screwing'. I chuckled to myself and walked up the stairs. I threw my bag on my bed, heading down stairs to set the table for dinner.
*time skip*
It was around 2:00 AM when I heard banging on my window. I lazily walked to my window, looking out of it. I saw no one, and assumed it was a squirrel or bird.
Thud
I heard from my window again. I sighed, getting back up and walking to my window. I open it this time, to be swiped out, my screams filling the quiet night.
I'm thrown into a van, with two others. It was dark, so I couldn't see who they were but I knew they were kids. The man that grabbed me slammed the door, and got into the drivers seat.
You're gonna die.
No I'm not!
Yes you are.
Shut up!
Just warning you!
I don't have time to talk to myself!
I shake myself out of my thoughts as I hear cries from two people. "Hello?" I ask, wanting to know who's there.
"Hey!" The man spats at us, and it grows silent. "If
any of you shitheads try to escape, I'll slit your throat, understood?" He says in a raspy, mean, growing with anger voice. We nod, even though he can't see it. "UNDERSTAND?!" He yells, looking back at us. His face is scrawny, and mean. We say our arrays of "Yes sir" 's, And it was silent that whole night.
