"Luke get in here." Mr. P grabbed Luke by the neck before he was able to run away.
"What do you want Mr. P? Are you going to throw me out just like how you did with Aria? Surely some people will have questions. Even Percy." Luke smirked.
"Smart kid. Mr. P what are we going to do about this?" Annabeth glared at Luke angrily.
"We have to make them all forget that Luke ever existed." Mr. P said.
"What? You can't do that!" Luke shouted.
"Mr. P for the first time I agree with him. Percy can't just forget about all his time here with Luke. About how he got here." Annabeth shook her head.
"We will be replacing Luke with you. All of Percy's memories of Luke will now be with you." Mr. P decided.
"That's not right." Annabeth refused.
"She's right Mr. P that's not right." Percy groaned. He had heard all of the commotion and carefully made his way to Mr. P's office.
"Percy! Hey man, I heard you're getting better." Luke patted Percy on the back.
"Don't touch me Luke. I heard what you're trying to do to me. Back away." Percy tried to push Luke aside but ended up stumbling and falling to the ground.
Annabeth pulled him up and guided him to a bean bag chair that Mr. P normally sat in. Mr. P didn't even bother to yell at him, that's how upset he was with Luke.
"Mr. P you cannot change everyone's memory to forget Luke. As much as I hate him now everyone had good memories with him before he turned into this monster. Luke deserves to be punished but let us remember the good stuff about him. And erase the mean and hurtful parts." Percy pleaded.
"I will honor your wishes Percy. Luke as of right now you will be banished from Camp Hf Blood and sent to the Underworld where you will be doing a bit of community service as they say for Hades." Mr. P stifled a grin.
"What do you mean community service?" Luke asked nervously.
"Well I mean working in the Fields of Asphodel, cleaning the Underworld palace,
and of course making sure that Queen Persephone and Sir Hades are satisfied with everything that you will cook for them." Mr. P laughed."Why did you say Queen Persephone and Sir Hades? You never address them like that." Luke remained cool and content trying to put on a brave face that way no one would suspect that we was nervous.
"That is what you will be calling them." Mr. P snickered.
"Okay. I'll be back though right?" Luke asked eagerly. Mr. P shook his head. "What? I've been here my whole life. And now it's just over?" Luke sighed.
"It's only because you made a stupid choice Luke! Look at what you were going to do to Percy! He's already hurt and now you were planning to finish him off!" Annabeth shouted.
Percy grabbed her hand. "Annabeth it's fine. Maybe Luke had a good reason to do this." Percy tried to find hope in his friend.
Percy remembered a time at Camp Half Blood when he was eight. He was playing Capture the Flag with everyone and he and Luke were on different times for the first time. He was hurt and was lying on the ground as blood poured out of him like a water fountain.
Luke had ran up to him and taken off his helmet and ripped off a part of his cape. He made a bandage for Percy making sure that he would be okay. "You're going to be fine. You're not dying on me yet. You have to see my team beat yours." Luke laughed. He was nervous and wanted to see his friend live to see another day.
"Your team would never beat mine." Percy tried to laugh but couldn't. He knew that he was dying. Percy's eyes started to close.
"No." Luke whispered. "Help! HELP! SOMEONE IS DYING!" Luke had screamed. Mr. P had came running and helped Luke carry the eight year old to the infirmary where he was healed and saved thanks to his friend.
In the present day Percy said, "Do whatever you want Mr. P. I just want to remember the good stuff." Percy turned to Luke. But Luke was gone and so was his journal.
"Where has that boy gone?" Mr. P sighed. "The outside world is not good for him. I never intended for him to die because of his mistakes."
Annabeth stayed with Percy. "Why did you want to remember Luke? He was always so mean to me." Annabeth asked.
"Annabeth he was my best friend. I want to remember everything that I had with him. I want to remember what a real friendship is." Percy explained.
"Oh. I should go with Mr. P and look for Luke." Annabeth sighed. She stood up and started to walk towards the door.
"Wait!" Percy exclaimed. Annabeth turned around. "Can you stay here with me? Just for a little bit?" Percy asked.
"Of course. What are friends for?" Annabeth smiled.
Percy fell fast asleep. He had a dream that he was in Luke's body. He was int he woods somewhere by a river. He threw a drachma into the river and waited. A shiny figure appeared in front of him like a hologram.
"Luke you have failed." the hologram said to Luke.
"I did not fail. They believe that I am out to kill Percy. Why did you want them to think that?" Luke asked.
"It is all apart of the big picture my boy. Now keep doing as I say." the hologram demanded.
"But I do not want to kill Percy. The only reason why I'm doing this is because you said that you would kill him yourself if I didn't do this. I thought that I could fake it long enough for you to back off." Luke rolled his eyes.
"I do not want to hear you talk like that to me ever again." the hologram said. Percy inhaled sharply. What was going on?
"Someone's here. Go Luke. Keep doing as I say unless you want your friend's head detached from its body." the hologram looked around and disappeared into the river leaving Luke alone.
