I was sitting in my office going over some paperwork when Normani and Ally came in. "Lo you've been here since five in the morning. Why don't you go home and get some sleep." Normani suggested. I ran my fingers through my hair. "I know but I need to finish this." I said. "I can finish it Lauren. I know everything you do." She said. "And I can help!" Ally volunteers. I shrugged "ok."

Arriving at home I noticed that Andrea was laying on the couch. "Hey mama Drea is Charlie asleep?" I asked. "Yeah she's actually spending the night at Dinah's." She tells me. I nodded as I took a seat on the couch. "I set up the guest room. You can stay if you want." I said. Andrea smiled "thank you sweetie." She said. I hugged her. "You're welcome."

After saying good night to Andrea I headed to bed where I got a text. Picking it up I smiled when I noticed that it was from Dinah.

Dinah💕: Charlie wanted me to send this text as a good night. She wasn't sure if you were home yet so this was the best case.

Me: tell her good night for me and that I love her so much and to behave. Good night Dinah.

Dinah💕: will do. Good night Lauren ❤

My heart fluttered at the small heart after her text as I shut my phone off and charged it. Laying down I couldn't wipe the smile off of my face. Maybe it's ok to speed up the moving on process. Just this one time.

Waking up the next morning I felt a weight on my side. I smiled tiredly as I turned my head and saw my daughter staring right at me with wide eyes. "Good morning babygirl. Did you have fun at Dinah's?" I asked. "Yeah! Dinah made nuggets last night and we had smoothies!" Charlie said happily. I hugged her and kissed the top of her head as I sat up. "What would you like for breakfast?" I asked. Charlie looks at me. "Grandma said not to worry. She's already making pancakes!" She exclaimed. I nodded as I got out of bed with Charlie in my arms. "Well go play. Mama has to get dressed." I said. Charlie hums and kissed my cheek before running off.

After getting ready and doing my morning routine I headed towards the living room with my briefcase in my hand. "Lauren you do know that today is Friday, right?" Andrea asked. Looking at the calendar I noticed that it was Friday. "Gosh this week has just been so busy that I honestly lost track of time. I'm sorry." I said. "It's fine honey but now you can relax and enjoy the breakfast I had made you." She says. I smiled as I sat down and placed Charlie in my lap. "So what would you like to do today?" I asked.

Charlie taps my chin. "DeDe said not to make any plans because she wants to do something today." She says. I nodded "oh ok." I muttered. "And Dinah said to wear something comfortable." Andrea tells me. I hummed and narrowed my eyes making her shrug her shoulders and go back to cooking. Dinah's up to something and I will find out what it is.

As I was eating the breakfast that Andrea made me Charlie sat in my lap as she played on my phone and ate her food. I was looking over her shoulder and noticed that she was texting Dinah. "So what are you guys talking about?" I asked. "Cartoons. DeDe is going to let me borrow the Lion King." She said happily. I laughed softly as I kissed the top of her head. Man I love this kid. I really do.

"Good morning ladies!" Dinah greets as she walks inside.

Charlie's eyes lit up and she quickly jumped down as she ran towards the blonde. "DeDe you're here!" She said as she hugs her. Dinah kissed the top of her head and hugged her back. "Of course I am. We have a day planned together." She said. Charlie giggled as she played with Dinah's fingers. "I get to go too?" Dinah nodded "of course you're my little buddy. We can't have a day without you!" She said.

Charlie smiles at me. "Mama DeDe said that I'm her buddy!" She exclaimed. "Isn't that great?" I pouted as I looked at her. "Then what does that make me? Am I not your buddy?" I asked sadly. Charlie laughed loudly as she ran towards me, jumped into my lap and hugged me tightly. "You're my number one! I love you mommy!" She said. I smiled as I hugged her tightly. "Aw and you're my number one." I said. "Always."

After getting dressed I headed out with Dinah and Charlie. "Thank you for letting me drive your car LoLo!" Dinah said joyfully. I smiled at her as I got in. "You're welcome DJ."

As we were driving to wherever we were going I couldn't help but sing along to the songs that were on the radio. "You have a beautiful voice Lauren." Dinah comments softly. "Why didn't you ever become a singer?" I chuckled a little. "Uh I wanted to but around the time I wanted to I got pregnant with Charlie and Keith's business was just taking off and even though he was super supportive of my dream I just felt like it wasn't the right time for me. I just needed to be there for my new born baby and him. It just felt right to me." I told her.

Dinah glanced at me for a second before going back to the road. "Do you still want to be a singer?" She asked gently. I shook my head. "Honestly I'm happy with what I have and where I am. Being the head of the company has given me a very good lifestyle that I wouldn't change for the world. I can provide for my daughter without any worries and that's all I have very wanted." I explained. Dinah nods "well as long as you're happy I'm happy." She said. "Me too mommy!" Charlie added from the back seat. I laughed softly as I looked between both of them. "Thank you guys."

We arrived at Disneyland and Dinah paid of our rooms even though I offered to split the bill with her. However she's extremely stubborn and wouldn't let me help. She drives me crazy but I like it. I really do.

"You know I could have helped you out." I said.

Dinah smiles at me as she took my hand in hers. "I know but I had this weekend planned for you to just let loose and have fun! I don't want you to worry about a thing! Just relax and have fun!" She tells me. A small grin forms on my lips as I looked up at her. "So what are we doing first?" I asked. Dinah chuckled as she took a seat on the couch. "Ordering room service because I'm starving!" She said.

I laughed softly as I took a seat next to her. "Thanks for bringing us here. I've been wanting to bring Charlie to Disneyland for months now but I've just been so busy. So thank you for this. I really appreciate it Dinah." I said. Dinah smiled softly "you're welcome Lo."
