So excited about this update... And I'm watching Adventure Time.... This is the good life.

I ran my fingers through my meticulously brushed hair. My mom had done it before she left for work. It was clean. Almost too clean.
I sighed, looking in the mirror once more. A different person stared back at me. She was dressed in a pencil skirt and a brown blazer with a crisp cream shirt. She was clean, and chunkier than usual, and she looked much older than seventeen. And she looked unhappy. Almost like she had lost all her best friends.
An episode of Adventure Time was playing. I heard a 'We're not werewolves, we're Why-Wolves!' But I didn't feel like watching Adventure Time so I clicked the TV off.
The house was silent and lonely.
I didn't want to be lonely. But I couldn't go back.
I walked to the bus stop, not pausing to take in the sun on my face or the happy couples lying on the beach. Those are things I would have done when I was part of them.
I payed for the ticket and got on, grabbing a map so I knew where I was going. I hadn't used a bike since you-know-what happened.
A group of girls were on the bus. They were laughing happily. I turned away from them.
The law firm was modern and made of glass.y mom stood out front, smiling happily and waving. She looked almost out of place.
She ushered me in, muttering in my ear and having me shake hands with people. I muttered a hello for each, not really caring about the person. Then my hand touched smooth skin, like my own. The person was wearing combat boots. I looked up, suddenly interested and saw...Alana?!?
