They made their way outside. When they arrived they saw a target with bows and arrows alongside it. The temperature was quite cold with a warm breeze and the sun was barely visible with all the clouds surrounding it. Most trees surrounding them didn't have any leaves and if they did they were are dark shade of brown, on the verge of falling. It seemed that it was all going to turn out fine, though truly nothing is like it is.

Leila was still nervous, she'd seen how much terror and trouble archery has caused before and was still doubting herself. Yes, they both had some fun, playing a few tricks here and there but she just had to push all of those thoughts down and look on the bright side; it was all fun in games.

"Wonderful weather we're having wouldn't you agree?" Jacob said sarcastically. The sun was barely visible behind all the clouds.

"Yes it is,...", she replied looking at the sky. "In the kingdom of Bavilline"

Leila laughed. Jacob rolled his eyes with a smile. She was a bit scared if the outcomes of archery. Never has she tried it so she didn't know what to expect. Though even in tough times Jacob finds a way to put a smile on her face.

He walked at a faster pace, he couldn't wait any longer. He took an arrow and bow and made a heroic pose.

She smiled.

Meanwhile, Jacob launched his. Once he did he put his bow down on the ground. He didn't even realize where he pointed it. They each had their eyes glued to it as it flew away from the targets. Leila gave him a look. He gave an embarrassed smile.

It was through the crisp air, almost ready for a stop. Until...

It flew toward a few maids walking toward the kitchen. They both dodged it with a yelping scream. They turned they head back and forth looking for where it could've come from. Jacob turned around pretending to be interested in other matters.

The two maids stopped looking and made a run for it, straight into the castle's kitchen.

Once they were completely out of sight, Jacob let out a laugh. Leila joined him.

"Did you see her face?" He said trying to grasp in air. He mimicked the women's face. Full of shock and horror.

Leila did as well. They laughed for a few more moments, before regaining their focus. Once they calmed down they started speaking normally, without have to gasp for air every syllable.

"That was hilarious," he said remembering the way the two ladies reacted.

" Yes, it was but only as long as your father doesn't hear about it," she said warning him.

He and his father didn't really get along well and he didn't have to add scared maids to his lists of complaints

"Yeah, we should,"

A simple cold breeze went down her spine. She shivered.

"Oh, are you cold?" He asked worried. He grabbed a simple red-wine colored cloak and fastened it around her neck.

"There,"

"Thanks." He walked out to a target and grabbed another bow and more arrows

"Now it's your turn," he held them out toward her for her to get. She did.

"Go on, I'm sure you'll do just fine," he said reassuringly. She couldn't do any worse than him.

She looked at it in her hands questionably.

"Is something wrong?" He asked her. She looked up

"No, of course not, it's just I dont know how to use it. Mind helping me?" She said a bit embarrassed
