Chapter 11

Levi's POV

I was the first to pull away. My mind was replaying the kiss over and over again. I opened my eyes to see Eren had opened his as well.

"W-What did y-you do th-that for!" My voice betrayed me. I had tried to say that without stuttering.

"Because I've fallen in love with you." My heart started beating out of my chest. Never in my wildest imagination did I think he'd fall in love with me.

"I can't believe Erwin was right." I cupped his cheek. As I stared into his breathtaking eyes my heart sank. "No. No, Erwin can't be right." I took a step back and in the process removed my hand from his cheek.

"W-What's wrong Levi?" I was full out panicking by this point. This couldn't be happening. I'd been so careful but this boy had me forget the incredibly important vow I'd made to myself all those years ago.

"If Erwin's right then-" Eren gabbed my shoulders. His eyes held nothing but concern.

"Levi something is obviously upsetting you because you're crying. Please tell me, I want to help you." He was right, I hadn't realised it until now but I was crying.

"You're in danger Eren." He rolled his eyes.

"Of course I am. Have you forgotten what you do for a living?" I shook my head.

"No! I haven't. But by me caring for, no, falling in love with you. I've put you in more danger than you could imagine." The tears continued to roll down my cheeks as I thought about the mistake I'd made. How can I have been so stupid? 

"How Levi? You aren't making any sense." 

"I-I can't tell you." My voice fell to a whisper. "I don't want you to leave me." I started shaking, not from the cold, but out of fear of what the future might hold.

"Let's go back to the hotel, we can change then you can tell me everything OK? I promise that I won't leave you Levi. We're in this together. Besides I don't know where we are so you have the advantage right now." I saw him grin like a goofy idiot. I felt a little better. He was able to stay positive so I could to, hopefully. He took my small hand in his and I realised just how much he'd affected my life in such a short amount of time, and just how much I needed him. We walked back to the hotel in silence, not noticing the figure running ahead of us.

Once back inside the room we were staying in we noticed Hanji on their back in the middle of the floor. The odd thing about that is the fact they were drenched.

"Hanji have you been outside?" Eren queried as Hanji sat up.

"Yep. That kiss was adorable! By the way bushy brows said he'd be here later tonight." Hanji threw their phone to Eren. He pressed play on the video and low and behold it was of the two of us kissing.

"You filmed us kissing? Why?" I demanded. Hanji just cackled.

"I wanted to." With that they skipped off to the bathroom. Me and Eren changed by the bed and then sat down. I was scared of what he'd think of me after I told him about me past. Before I could say anything Erwin barged in.

"Levi! We need to talk!"

"Through here Erwin." He was mad, that much was obvious. I fell backwards onto the bed so I was laying down when he came in. He looked ready to rip my head off until he spotted Eren. "Don't say a word Erwin. I know I'm an idiot and yes he want's to know why he's in so much danger." I heard Erwin sigh.

"The real question is are you going to tell him?" It was my turn to sigh.

"Yes. He deserves to know."
