the fun begins

"Kaia you can't do that" is a phrase I have heard a lot growing up, thankfully now at the age of 28 years old I rarely hear it but every time I want to something "bad" I still hear it. Not anymore as my new years resolution I am going to be as bad as I want to be and not allow myself to be talked out of a fun time.
That's me, in the fitted red dress with long honey coloured hair, emerald green eyes and tanned skin. The dress shows off my hour Glass figure and the black heels make my legs look longer than they are. Old me wouldn't have dared to go out like this but well she was a bore and followed the rules.
She didn't want to play around with the powers her Siren mother passed down to her. Yeah, my powers won't be as strong as my mother's but I wanna see what I am capable of and how much I can get away with.
Drink in hand I start swaying to the music, humming along to the tune as I sway my hips. Giggling because I feel so care-free. I notice the glares I am getting from other women which makes me giggle more. I get offered drink after drink that I refuse, some times not so polite in my refusal to accept the drink if they start to make a scene.
I grab onto the guy nearest me when I hear the countdown to the New year's and kiss him passionately when I hear the screams of "one" as it suddenly becomes 2022. I let go of him and say "happy new year" before walking away from the guy who looked confused. I make it home safely to my little studio apartment which was a 5 minute drive from my place. I giggle as I picture the guy still confused from my kiss. This apartment was an upgrade from the last one, thank God for sugar Daddies with big hearts and even bigger wallets. Sighing happily I walk into my spacious apartment feeling blessed that my eyes were opened to what I was missing out on by having "morals" that society deems all independent women must have. Who says I can't be a strong, independent woman and have a sugar daddy bank rolling my lifestyle. Got to work smarter not harder.
