Chapter 1

ALex's pov

So I'm a senior which means this is my last year of secondary school and its crazy.

I mean it feels like yesterday I started first year and now I'm leaving school in a couple months.

Now don't get me wrong I'm not too upset about the whole no school thing but I don't even know what I want to do yet so I'm not looking forward to finding out.

I walk downstairs to see my mam sitting at the kitchen table on her phone. I walk in and put on some toast.

"So are you ready for your first day back" my mam asks. "as ready as i'll ever be" I reply and go to get changed while I'm waiting.

I put on denim high waisted jeans, a grey crop top that says #FML and my white cons. I put my hair into a high pony and run down to get my toast. Once I finish I run outside to catch the bus.

"Hey girl" I say as I see lana down te back of the bus. "heyyyyy" she says moving over to let me sit down. " So you ready for one more year of hell?" she asks. "YES I CAN'T WAIT" I say a bit too loud getting glares.(notice sarcasm). We both laugh and look out the window to see if lexi's here yet.

"Alex,alex, Alex!" lanah whispers nidging me and pointing out the window. "what lanah?" I say getting annoyed. "who,is,that?" she says pointing at some boy around our age maybe older with brown hair and tan skin.

"I don't know I haven't seen him before must be new" I say looking out the other window seeing lexi. I wave as she comes onto the bus and lana starts ranting about how good looking the mystery boy was while I run over my steps in my head.

Did I mention I dance? Well I dance. Alot! it's my life basically and I've been in it nearly 14 years. It's my dream to join river dance but my mam says its more important to get an education and have a good paying job. She is right but I can dream right.

We pull up to the school and we pile off the bus but as I'm stepping off I trip over lanah and fall off the bus. As I'm about to land something stops me mid air and I look up to see the boy from earlier.

I immediately stand up and apologise. "oh, sorry I'm clumsy haha" I laugh and put my head down. "its fine" he laughs. "I'm glad I caught you" he winks. "yea thanks for that I better go bye" I say turning to leave.

"wait what's your name" he shouts after me. "ALEX" I shout back turnig to leave again. "Cameron" I think I hear him shout but I'm in the building catching up with lanah and Lexi now.

"Ehm what was that?" Lexi says. "what" I ask. "ehm that! back there he was cute" she laughs. "oh eh I kinda fell and made a tick of myself so I don't think it's going anywhere lexi " you laugh. "surree" she winks and we go into the English classroom.

English is one of y favourite classes but this class all I was thinking about was my new dance I learned. I was going through the steps non stop and doing the moves with my hands on the desk. I want nothing more than to become a dancer even if it means starting small to reach the top. I don't just want to do it for me I want to do it for my family and dance teacher who believe in me and want me to do my best. I need to make them proud and myself proud and I don't have time for distractions. Just as I was thinking the teacher called me. "Alexa can you tell me what the metephoric reference is in this sentence?" she asks staring at me. "ehm that would be she is the earth miss" I say as I look at the board hoping the answer is correct. "very good, count yourself lucky you got that right, pay attention please" she says. "yes miss" I say as I look at lanah trying not to laugh.

*Skip to lunchtime*

"Did you get the algebra last night?" lanah asks as I drink some of my coke. "ehm most of it" I say as lexi comes over to our table with her food. "OMG guess who's back Alex" as she points to the cafeteria door.

I turn to see Cameron walking in with another boy around his height, brown hair and amazing blue eyes.

"woah who are they" and "he's hot" is all that could be heard around the cafeteria. I just rolled my eyes as I turned back to lexi. "HEY YOU'LL CATCH FLIES IF YOU KEEP YOUR MOUTH OPEN TOO LONG" I say snapping my fingers I front of lexis face.

"what oh sorry damn who's your boys friend" lexi says. "ehm earth to lexi have you seen him and then me, never gonna happen. Plus I don't like him that much ye he's attractive but he seems a bit cocky to me." I say eating my pizza.

"well id be worried if he wasn't ;)" lanah says. "oh HA HA" I smirk giving her a glare. we all laugh as they walk past our table. I look up and see the blue eyed boy looking at lexi and she's looking at him.

I smirk and look back to see Cameron wink at me. I don't want to be rude so I smile and put my head down but honestly I don't really want a relationship right now... even if he is REALLY attractive.
