"Oh no..." I stared at the decorative pee stick. "This cannot be happening."

"Everything okay in there?" Ahren knocked lightly as I talked to myself.

"Uh...yeah. I'm fine." I yelled back.

"Okay." I heard his voice fade away as he left.

How am I supposed to tell him that I'm pregnant? We're not married and for all I know is that he doesn't even want to marry me! Do I get rid of it? Why does this have to happen to me?!

"Ahren." I yell weakly as I stepped out the bathroom.

"Yeah?" He looked over at me from the couch.

"I have to tell you something." I sighed, nervously sitting down next to him.

"Uh oh." He looked at me with sad eyes. I could tell his heart was beating out of his chest.

"I'm figuring you know what it is." I sighed and shifted in the chair.

"Who is it?" He sighed angrily. His brow was furrowed and his face was starting to turn red. Although he was wrong, I was still scared.

"I'm pregnant." I winced at my words.

"(Y/N)." His face was frozen. I knew he'd be angry. "I love you."

"What?" I stuttered. His face let go into a smile that was near tears.

"I love you." He started kissing all over my face.

"I love you, too!" I started giggling as his stubble tickled my face.

"This is so great!" He laughed along with me.

"Ahren, quit it!" I put my fists gently against his chest as I exploded with laughter.

"I'm going to take so much good care of you." He promised.

*9 Months Later*

"Are you ready, Momma?" The nurse asked. They were always so cheesy in the maternity ward.

Our baby's heart beat thumped repeatedly as paper printed it's beats from the machine. Ahren sat beside me as I squeezed his hands mercilessly.

"Seriously." I nodded. Everything was prepared and I was ready to get the gremlin out of me. He's been doing nothing but kicking the shit out of me lately.

"All of our hard work is about to pay off." Ahren kissed my cheek, ignoring his throbbing hand.

A few minutes later, a baby came out of me squealing. It was strange, hearing that noise and knowing it was mine. He was placed on my chest and the tears couldn't stop flowing.

"You're going to be the best dad ever." I looked up at Ahren.

"You're going to be the best wife ever." He whispered in my ear.

"Ahren?" I gave him a funny look as our newborn finally quieted down.

"I want you to marry me, (Y/N)." He gave me a serious look.

"I want to marry you." I nodded, tears were just a theme today.
