Chapter three -
The next day Karma found herself outside Blue's building, in Beth's car. She had worn dark jeans and a long sleeve shirt with sunglasses and a ball cap. Beth was in a sundress.
"What are we doing again?" She asked.
"Spying, what else?" Karma sarcastically responded.
"Why?"
"Because he's being shady as fuck, thats why." Karma snapped.
"Okay, have you asked him what he's doing?" Beth asked back, taking the binoculars from Karma and dropping them in the back seat.
"Yes I have, and he came home last night beat the fuck up and angry at me for even asking what the fuck happened." Karma grumbled picking up her cup of coffee. It was now cold.
"And so you decided to take the day off and sit out here till what?" Beth asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes, that's... there he is!" She screeched as she slumped more into the passenger seat.
Karma and Beth watched as Blue walked out of the all glass building and got into a car.
"Should we follow him?" Beth asked.
"What do you think?" Karma's sarcasm was getting old.
Beth started the car and staying a ways away followed the car Blue had gotten into.
After about thirty minutes the car pulled into a small bike shop.
Karma and Beth watched as Blue got out and greeted a man who was obviously in the wrong business.
He had a long scar down the side of his face and Karma couldn't even begin to understand why Blue was meeting him non the less at a bike shop.
Just then Blue looked up, his eyes connecting with hers.
"Go, go!" She yelled as she smacked Beth's shoulder.
Beth took off racing back to Karma's house.
"Do you think he saw us?" Beth asked as they fell onto the couch.
"He looked right fucking at me, yes he saw us." Karma ran a hand down her face.
She was going to hear it when he got home.
._.
Hours passed and then the front door slammed shut.
Beth and Karma jumped up off the couch and looked wiped eyed at Blue who was beyond pissed.
"Beth, I think you should go home." Blue's calm voice did not match the look in his eyes.
Beth grabbed her purse and took one last look at Karma before she left.
"What the fuck do you think you where doing?" Blue asked between clenched teeth as he slowly walked to the green eyed woman.
Swallowing the lump that had formed in her throat Karma answered. " You lied to me."
"About?"
"You said you had a meeting today, that wasn't a meeting." She simply stated. But this was anything but simple.
"No dear that was a meeting, that you almost fucked up!" Blue yelled at her. She had never seen him this angry let alone at her.
"Stop yelling at me like I'm a fucking child Blue." Karma was yelling back.
How dear he treat her this way. He had made his way into her home and somehow had managed to get her to actually think about being back with him, and now he was acting shady and lying to her. No way was he getting away with this.
"Then stop fucking acting like one. God damn it Karma, do you know what could have happened to you?" Blue was still yelling.
"No, no I fucking dont because you dont ever tell me shit!" Karma felt like there was steam coming from her ears. She already knew her face was red and she could feel how hot her cheeks had become.
"It's for your own fucking good, now mind your own fucking business."
"Fine, then get out of my fucking house." Karma stalked past him and up the stairs. She could hear his footsteps as he followed her.
Walking into the room he was using she ripped the closet door open and began throwing his clothes onto the floor.
Deja -vu hitting her.
"What the fuck are you doing?" Blue seethed as he watched her throw his clothes everywhere.
"I want you out of my house, now Blue." He felt his heart drop as she turned around.
Her eyes held anger but the tears were something else.
"Baby, don't be like this." Blue said as he walked over to her. He reached out to grab her but she moved past him.
"I want you gone by the morning." Was all she said before going to her room and slamming the door shut.
Blue looked at the mess and began cleaning it up. He didn't understand why she wouldn't just drop it.
Just thinking about her getting involved with this made his heart ache.
Karma laid in bed trying, no willing herself to fall asleep but her mind was racing and her heart hurt. She really thought he was trying, but if she was being honest he had lied before and there really isn't anything that was keeping him from doing it again.
Wiping the tires from her cheeks she pulled her blanket over her head and begged the night to end.
