Another day. That's what I tell myself as I change Into my usual black yoga pants and a sports bra. Thursday. Gym day.
I chew on the inside of my mouth looking at my body in the mirror, it wasn't as if I had anyone to impress, my personal trainer was in her 50's and female. Packing up my usual gym things; water, a towel, my purse and extra hair ties. I slump the rucksack on my bed as I pull on my usual jacket before taking my bag over my shoulder.I sigh as I open the front door noticing that it's already beginning to rain, clouds strewn all across the sky causing the brightness of the day to disappear under a grey blanket.
The gym was only a short walk away so I needn't bother to take the car. Arriving at the gym I let out a sigh of relief knowing I made it safe and dry before the rain hit. Proceeding to my usual check in procedure, I hand the woman at the desk my gym membership card and she does the usual check in and I talk about the weather as usual. Everything about my life was routine and boring.
"Oh, your personal trainer, Carol is sick...Nasty bug going around" the woman says, I think her name was jenny but I didn't bother to check her badge
"Oh? Do I have a replacement?" I ask adjusting the bag sitting on my shoulder
"Yes his name is Calum, he's new to the gym" she smiles resuming her desk activities....Calum...him. I have never had a male trainer, great.
I enter into the vacant gym placing my belongings onto the floor removing my jacket setting it next to my bag, the room was quiet and empty so I decide to start out my stretches. That's when I spot a shirtless guy come out of one of the gyms staff rooms,"Hi" he smiles causing me to swallow.
His body was gorgeous and tattooed and I couldn't take my eyes away from how muscular he was
"Ugh-hi" I stutter watching him run his fingers through his hair
"I'm Calum your new trainer while carol is out" he smiles again
"I-I'm Dakota" I swallow again the lump in my throat had swollen just looking at that body of his.
