Beep beep beep. Ugh what's that noise turn it off. Stupid alarm clock turn off. I would toss it across the room but I would get another lecture on how money doesn't grow on trees. I don't need another one, I already get enough without trying.

"Ellie get up its time for school. If you're late I'm taking your phone away and I'll ground you."

"Mom you can't do that I'm 17 years old. Plus I need my phone for assignments. You always tell me my grades should be over 92% or it's a fail." I mutter. Somehow she hears me when she can't hear me scream my replies.

"Young lady if u keep questioning my authority I will show what I can really do."

"Alright I'm getting ready."

I got up made my bed, picked my outfit, brushed my teeth and showered. I had to look presentable, it is the first day of school. I picked out a pair of jeans, a red full sleeve shirt, and my vans. My parents had this rule that I couldn't wear anything that showed skin. They were super strict and controlling with everything they did, they always have been. As I was picking my clothes I heard a wolf whistle.

"Damn Ell, looking good"

Crap crap crap I left my window open. Now I'm standing in front of the window in a towel with Xavier staring at me. Ellie what are you doing close the window.
"Stop staring at me in my towel you creep."

Stupid stupid stupid your crush just complimented you and that's what you say. Yes I admit it, I may have a slight crush Xavier Adam but he probably thinks of me like Darcy.
Let me introduce you to the Adam family. First is Anne Harrison Xavier's mom. She has a different last name because she married Xavier's step-dad, Hamilton Harrison. They got married 3 months after moving here. My parents Mariah and are best friends with Xavier's parents. The eldest Adam child is Damien who is in 20 and in university. My brother Elijah and Damien are best friends. The second Adam child is Xavier who is 17 and the same age as me. We're close but not super close. I mean there's many things I don't know about him and he doesn't know about me. Still I'm closest to him out of all the Adams. The last Adam child is Darcy who is 13 and the same age as my little sister Everly. They are friendship goals, they are always matching and doing everything together.

"I think my moms calling me I'll see you later."

"Make sure to put some clothes on before you go down or you could ignore your mom and come here and take that towel off."

"Shut up"

Then I closed the curtains but then I heard him shout, "you know want to take that towel off in my room."

Ugh stupid horny teenage boys, they all want the same thing. The fact Xavier's my friend doesn't change that. But did he really mean it. Would he want to be with me. What am I saying he's Xavier and I'm just plain old Ell. He probably thinks of me like his little sister.
Why is my heart beating so fast. Oh my god I need to stop smiling like a maniac. Breathe in breathe out. It's just Xavier your childhood best friend. Who am I kidding; IT'S XAVIER MY CHILDHOOD CRUSH.

Crap it's 8:20 I'm gonna be late. I dab on some mascara and a little bit of clear lip gloss. My mom says not to wear to much makeup. Apparently it damages your skin. Actually never mind facial makeup products, she doesn't even want me using lip gloss! Can someone please explain why. Anyway I finished my makeup and ran downstairs and gobbled down my breakfast. I always have my breakfast, it's the most important meal of the day.

My parents are dropping me off to school today. They think since it's the first day I'm going to skip. Keep in mind I have never skipped without my parents knowing. If I want to skip my parents need a legitimate excuse.

"Have a good day"

"If you skip I'll take your phone away"

"Umm thx and I won't skip I never do"

You can probably tell my mom and I don't have the best relationship and I'm way closer to my dad. It's mostly since my mom is always controlling my life.

I know this chapter is short the next one will be longer
This chapter is a bit boring as well but the next chapter will be... Interesting
