Authors Note:

Hi Guys,

So only a few weeks ago (25th April 2019) I had all but given up on writing. I was ready to delete my stories and move on..

But recently I've been given some self-discovered motivation and determination to carry on.

I've never done anything like this before.. So please bare with me and be kind please 😘

Love,

Phoebe x

My phone vibrated as it lay against the desk beside my bed, drawing me away from the trance my book had pulled me into.

'You have one new message waiting for you' - Twitter

My eyebrows knitted together in confusion. I never use Twitter. I only ever use it for uni related work...

I swiped away at the notification, it was probably just a retweet from one of the accounts I follow.

I picked up my book - The Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers - and reimbursed myself with my favourite character Pippin.

As I waited for the kettle to boil to pour myself a cup of Thai green tea I scrolled through my Instagram feed before thinking about the Twitter notification again.

As I carefully poured my tea I exited my Instagram and watched my Twitter app load up across the screen.

As I refreshed the bountiful unread tweets a notification flashed above my private messages inbox.

Nobody ever contacts me on Twitter.

My feed is all education related in regards to my university degree...

There was even a verification tick beside his name.

This must be another virus or scam.

'Hello :)'  was highlighted in bold underneath to signify his message contents.

I opened the message to remove the notification reminder before exiting Twitter and returning back to the comforts of my book.

As my treadmill session came to an end at the gym my screen illuminated with a notification.

'You have one new message waiting for you' - Twitter

I grabbed my bottle as I read over the notification repeatedly... Confused.

I opened the app and sure enough there was another message notification.

'Read... That's cold 💔'

"What?" I accidentally spoke my confusion aloud.

I glanced around quickly to make sure any onlookers weren't observing this situation.

I opened the chat.

'I'm very sorry. But I think you've been hacked.' I typed back.

As I resumed my gym work out I was notified of another Twitter notification.

@ KJ_Apa

'I have not been hacked :)'

19:24

'Then you're messaging the wrong person'

As I rolled into bed I received another notification. Once again from Twitter.

@ KJ_Apa

'Nope. I've got the right one ;)'
